How can a champions league team who have just qualified for the knockout stages for the 13th year running miss anyone when they are playing LEAGUE 2 BRADFORD?
Swansea beating Liverpool was no surprise. Including that particular game, Swansea have won 2 and drawn 2 of our last 4 games together, scoring 4 to 1.
That was a good chance and if Chamakh ahd found the right pass, he'd have had the perfect chance to let a shot rip. His crossing was poor, but so was everyone else.
Realistically in the league we are aiming to make sure we stay in the top 4 this season. We are out of the league cup now but we still have the FA Cup - you never know how the luck of the draw will be and we have every chance of doing well in the FA Cup. If we end our trophy droubt this season i'd say the FA Cup is now the most realistic. The CL we have made it out of the group and now it depends who we draw as to how far we can go. Porto got an easy run and a couple of very good performances to win the CL - Chelsea fluked there way to it last year - it's not always the best team in it that win it and while we are still in the competition i still hold out some hope! Thats more than any other english club than Utd can say this season!
i would prefer it i f he said , " i have had an offer of a job elsewhere, i have shown great ability , mental strength , belief ..... "
Shame he can't score penalties.... In hindsight, maybe playing Arteta would have been a smarter move. A) He's very good B) He can take penalties.
give me strength . Did you just watch that match ? Have we got some players that i dont know about ? Let me guess who will be playing in the FA cup matches. ? errr .. Gervinho .. and Ramsey
@remembercolinlee I already explained it in previous reply. Bradford where very physical and the ref was allowing lots of pushing etc.. We didn't have anyone on the pitch to deal with that as Giroud is out injured. If he was playing we would have had more possession, more chances and i have no doubt he would of put away at least one of the chances that fell to our other strikers - especially the tap in! He's also got a mean penalty on him It doesn't mater what league they are from, they where a big physical team and that is the only issue we had with them - thus we missed Giroud. Other than that we dominated them for the majority of the game, created lots of chances (a couple which where criminal to miss), but unfortunately didn't manage to find the net.
I see Wenger getting a lot of stick but it wasn't really his fault. He picked a strong team who should be beating Bradford easily regardless of what tactics the manager chooses. If I was an Aresnal fan my fury would be aimed at the players. Gervinho in paticular, I think he is a terrible footballer all he is is quick he has little else.
This is comedy genius The FA cup is in your opinion your best hope of a trophy? That's cos you've got no hope of the league and in all honesty do you think you'll be as 'lucky' as Chelsea? Every chance of doing well in the FA Cup? You're away to swansea Luck of the draw? you got a lucky draw .... BRADFORD from LEAGUE 2
@gunner.b.alright - the same players who played today beat spurs 5-2, WBA 2-0 last game. My point being the players are good enough to beat teams much better than Bradford so stop acting like this is a benchmark for our teams standard. We have qualified from the group stage of the CL, but u will shrug that off as nothing, whilst claiming this result shows how bad we are.
No but that was the most obvious thing mssing in that particular game. He'd need to spend £100m for us to actually challenge for league..
I tried to keep defending Ramsey, but after today, I have finally lost hope on him. The way he gifts the ball to the opposition time and time again, makes you think that he is trying to destroy us from the inside. Also the moments where he just stops on the ball and does nothing for about five seconds is both weird and a sign of a guy that is not good enough. Goodbye.
