As I've said before, there are no good parts to Hull. It's 90% ****, 10% average. Leeds has many, many abysmal areas to it as well, though it does at least have some genuinely nice areas too. Hull has been very badly done by by the government, but so few people seem to give a **** that those with the power to improve things clearly don't see the point in investing money there. After all, why spend your money in Hull when people are apathetic about living in what is as close to poverty as a First World nation can get and say they are happy? You may as well piss it down the ****ing drain. Even little things stand out. In Leeds, if a something like a street light breaks, it's fixed within 24 hours. In Hull, it's left for a month and then patched up so shoddily you'd think a baboon had done it with its eyes closed.
Kingston-Upon-Hull may not be the prettiest on the eye, but you will never get egged for wearing HM forces uniform in public!
