Anyone else concerned by the sudden backing of Liverpool by pundits etc? I don't want to see pressure put onto the club, certainly not onto the players considering how young some of them are. I also think this talk of us being in contention for fourth are very premature, it absolutely depends on the January transfer window and even if we get the right players in they will need to hit the ground running, not to mention settle and the team hit a run of form.
It is funny how opinions have all of a sudden changed. There's no way we should be considered favs for 4th. We just need to concentrate on each game as it comes, buy a striker and then evaluate where we are.
Lets be honest, we're having a crap season in the league yet we're within touching distance of 4th, we are a team that's hard to beat, we've lost less games than some teams above us etc. The pundits know that with better attacking options we'd be at least 4th now.
I take your point but... - Jamie Redknapp is an ex-player but loves to put the boot into us whenever he can. - Michael Owen is an ex-player but played for Man Utd and was an Everton fan as a child. - Gary Neville hates everything about Liverpool and Liverpool Football Club!
I didn't say they were good pundits... From the top of my head... Thompson, Fowler, Collymore, Aldridge, Souness, Hanson, Lawrenson and McManaman. I like Macca though. Also Gary Neville is the best out there.
I hate it that he's such a good pundit and that he's pretty fair to us, I was looking forward to shouting at the tele.
I've not heard anything from Thompson, Aldridge, Souness or McManaman and I couldn't give a **** what Lawro says so nothing from him either! None of Fowler, Collymore and Hansen believe we will get top four I agree that Gary Neville is a superb pundit (but still a prick ) and he doesn't let alliances get in the way either.
Great support from Udinese, can barely show up for their home games, no surprise then this..... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/socce...noa-team-match-230323815--sow.html#more-17127
Brazilian police pull guns on the Argie opposition at halftime. http://news.sky.com/story/1024868/brazil-team-quits-final-over-gun-threat Surely there's gonna be a replay on a neutral ground if the guns story proves to be true.
Talk of town already too. Fans on news, facebook, twitter and local papers all saying Stags can beat Liverpool. Typical twat heads of this town really
Stokies are generally OK. There's the odd dickhead but you can have a good discussion with the majority
