He sounds as low as a snakes belly, he must feel really let down by MH and the so called super signings, he would be a fool to splash out more cash on old established premier players looking to boost there pensions, he needs protecting from himself, if this lot cant keep us in the division then we take our medicine go down and build again.
Yes, totally agree Oslo. It certainly is not impossible to get out of this. Wigan were in a very precarious position last season and had nightmare fixtures left but still comfortably stayed up in the end. We need to get a couple of wins to start us off.
I just hope hes learnt his lesson, he was conned by a previous manager who syphoned a load of money out of the club via agents and its going to take years to recover from that.
What I need to hear from TF and the investors right now is that the long term vision remains in place and, regardless of relegation, they will continue to build for the future. Mr Beard has been noticeably quite on topics such as the new ground recently and, given his earlier 'we will not be fazed by failure' attitude, this silence is worrying. Should TF & co decide to cut their losses we would undoubtedly go the same way as Portsmouth. I'm not saying he will - he seems to be a top geezer and doesn't take his commitments lightly - but as a QPR fan the best Christmas present I could receive would be such reassurances from the board.
What these two said. Rodney...............................Rodney...............................RODNEY, WAKE UP YOU DIPSTICK!!!
Really starting to worry now, firstly I find myself agreeing with Flyer and now Swords....strange days indeed
We don't need to spend money IMO at all ... These players we have are all good players and it's up to Harold to get these to play. I am sure that no manager is the same and Harold will have no faith in some and a lot in some of our very good squad... I seriously challenge what the **** can you base any of your opinions on? ... These players under Harold have not lost a game yet so in that effect you cannot be taken seriously as you are wrong ... Give the team a chance to work under Harold before you fools start over again.
You should be : Swords has never left the Dublin men with ladies problems institute and Flyer in a TRON like character and lives inside a betamax version of FIFA 2003
Oddball, your contradictions are so many that you've probably disagreed with yourself about 20 times over the last two seasons. How many schitzo personas have you got?
Agree we don't want more mercenaries (or players whose agent is Kia Joorabchian!). Bringing DJ back would be a smart move though a lot of weight on young shoulders. I guess the other way to bring a striker in is from the lower leagues or oversees who may relish the chance of a battle with rich rewards if we are successful. All a bit tenuous but not hopeless just yet.
Swords, he is 31. Not exactly a spring chicken but would bring down the average age of the team! Incidentally, this w/e sees the clash of the 'old men'. When I checked last, QPR and Fulham had the highest average age squads. In fact, they were slightly older than we were - just.
Theres a difference between keeping your players when get old as they clearly know what the club is about, we signed a load of mercenaires after one last payday. I had no problem with keeping Cerny, HH etc but virtually all the new old players have played with no heart, Nelsen aside.
Hes made mistakes, allowing the Barton and SWP signings, leaving the warnock sacking too late, allowing more old signings this season and i believe leaving it too late to sack Hughes.
Looking back the problems really started when we had 10 days to make a rash of signings. Most of them were sh** and the problem has just compounded and here we are. Couldn't have scripted any worse.
