Pardew has got an eight year contract <yikes> I can understand you giving that to somebody like Wenger or Fergie, but Alan ****ing Pardew <laugh>

I know they've got a lot of injuries, but Newcastle look really ropey this season, especially at the back

Its not just about who has the better players, Bradford will be fired up for this in a way its impossible for us to match.
Thats why these games are difficult especially away from home

Totally agree with you. This could be the biggest game that any of the Bradford players ever play

I have a seaky feeling Bradford will pull off a sensational upset tonight. In front of their home fans. Their biggest game for a long time so they will be up for it. A hostile atmosphere... it won't be easy for you that's for sure.

Does anyone know the squad of players that we're taking and a likely line-up? BBC usually post the squad in their pre-match report but it's not there.

I don't think there's any update yet, but Wenger said this the other day about the squad to travel to Bradford :

If a full strength squad goes there are no excuses for a poor performance :)

A semi-final would lift the team massively. Not counting chickens, but hoping.

Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Wilshere, Coquelin, Ramsey, Cazorla, Podolski, Gervinho

Substitutes: Mannone, Jenkinson, Squillaci, Rosicky, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chamakh.

Looks like we are taking this cup very seriously this year.

Ramsey on the right, Podolski on the left and Gervinho through the middle is the most likely, but i'd like to see gervinho on the left with Podolski through the centre!

Are Eisfield and Gnabry carrying knocks at the moment? Shocked they will not be taking part in this game.

We are playing an almost full strength first 11 bar 3-4 players and we have a strong bench.

I'm expecting a big result tonight... and a good performance.

Me too. I think Eisfeld in particular has done enough to deserve a chance in the first team.

If we can get through tonight then i'll be looking forward to the 19th of Dec to see if Leeds can pull off a shock victory against the chavs!

This should be our trophy this year. If we can make it to the final it'll be our third league cup final in the last 5 years! About time we win this cup i think!

Idd superjack - Eisfield seems to score in every game he plays for the u21's/reserves and when eh got a chance in the first team he looked quality.

I wonder if it is due to injuries, or if Wenger has just decided - **** it! I'm winning this ****!

I love the feeling buiding up to kick-off and im sitting in my front room rather than at the game!

I wish i could afford to go and watch more football live :(

I shall now sit and stare at the tv until the arsenal coverage starts at half 7!

    Not at all gunner.be.alright :p

Infact i was certain we would see some youth players in this fixture, but we won't! He has always made it clear this is the bottom of the priority list but maybe he has decided it's time to win a trophy regardless of which one it is?

Shame that Rosicky is not starting. Would have loved to seen him starting alongside Wilshere and Cazorla.
