Good at least you know I know what I'm talking about! If people took the time to review games over and over and make a diary they would see what I'm on about.

We are dealing with idiots and I'm surrounded by unfortunates, however I refuse to allow them to plague my brain with stupidity.

 

This is such bad craic it's unreal MR... I can imagine sleepless nights hovering over the "submit" button as you stewed in your anger, which was quite frankly hilarious given ACS only posted in good faith... But no, whenever a Toon fan even thinks about daring to harnass the abilities enabled on a MULTI-forum by posting on another team's board (well, actually it's only the Sunderland fans who do this), we end up with this;

It's only a couple of you, but unfortunately a noisy minority that needs a chill pill. A WUM is someone who sticks around and posts rubbish to try and anger people, not anyone who supports a rival team.

We're all in the **** here, seemingly competing for the wooden spoon again rather than shiny bliss (seriously, we must be the ****test mapgies ever with our eye for silverware! ), so some joint wallowing is called for, not random arguments because you want to take your anger out on other people...

The Mackems will keep trolling but there have been reasons for our poor start, and that's mainly due to injuries and number of games.

The most hilarious part is he and others got very excited and "how do you like it yourself", only to find we have been running a poll on this exact subject for the last 3 weeks. There are some WUMs over there for sure, but we aren't all looking to boil your piss. Debates have another side, so if someone takes the other view they aren't evil

 

I voted Pards out. To explain that I should point out unlike most Sunderland fans I want to see Newcastle doing well.

But having voted I remembered his contract length and the fact that we're so close to the January transfer window. I hope he signs well in January and is given the chance to see out the season. If things don't improve by then I think you need to look at other options.

That seems contradictory to me. If you want us to do well surely you'd want him 'in' to maintain stability that progress is normally derived from? Chopping and changing managers is a proven road to ruin unless you have a carefree benefactor.

 

I think if you stick with Pardew you will get 8-10th comfortably.

For us I see more 12-16th unless we strengthen significantly in January.

Think if Newcastle finished 10th and Sunderland finished 16th, we would both take that (dependant on the Sunderland result tonight).

 

I doubt we'll get anywhere near 8th mate, but I appreciate the optimism! I think we'll both be in and around 12th-17th. Hope it doesn't go sour though!

 

Not necessarily WP, I don't think anyone who wants Pardew sacked is hoping it leads to disaster, but a revival of fortune. Stability is fine, but you need to make sure you have the right person to stick by. Do we have that in Pardew? I truly hope so!

True but surely we have already seen last season he is capable. If you look at the likes of Moyes, SAF, Wenger, Pulis or any other manager given time, they've had a sticky patch which they have been backed through by their board. In some ways Pards made a rod for his own back by doing so well last season. The expectation for this season then became minimum of top 8 when the previous year most saw mid table or, in a lot of cases, survival as the aim. Expectation has jumped so quickly but not been matched by investment. We've been caught up by the likes of Swansea who have gone out and added Michu, Hernandez, De Guzman, Chico, Ki, Bartley. 6 talented lads to add in while losing Sinclair. We signed Anita, Amalfitano, Bigi, Good while losing the likes of Best, Guthrie, Lover, Forster.

It is obvious why we have been dragged back to the pack.
