No vote from me, its a hard question to answer, as bad as it is right now I cant see us going down, but we wont be far away, think we will stay clear by around 5 points.

Just to be clear though that is no way good enough, I have seen enough of where we are going under MM to believe he is not the man for the job.

His quote yesterday "im gutted but not angry" beggers belief, he only has to think back 6 months to the last time we played D&R we were comprehensively beaten that day, and if I remember rightly he blurted out a crap excuse for that, the all sorry episode was convieniently brushed under the carpet, the team that day included Caryal and was one of a couple of iffy away games for us, question his did we learn from that and were any steps put in place to put it right? I think you only have to look over the summer period to see the answer to that one, not to mention his self confessed statement of not preparing for the Wimbledon game?

I can see why some question if he his only here for the pay day, is he taking the job seriously?

I think we'll get 5 points from the next four games.

I've voted yes, but that's out of blind faith, rather than any grounds to back it up.

Absolutely not - we are going down, pure and simple.

I have seen us play for about 40 minutes at anything approaching a decent level and I've seen seven home games this season. That's 40 mins out of 630.

    Total rubbish. We're going down.

I think if we go down we won't come back for a very long time just look at Luton a team who in the eighties finished 9th in the old 1st division and got to two league cup finals winning one against Arsenal we're not to big to go down or to big not to go up.

For what its worth guys, I think Rovers AND City will stay up....but only just for both. Rovers usualy find a decent bit of fight when they need to.....well they have in previous years?....and with one or two loans over the Jan period, you should be ok :)

IMO the largest problem is the lack of commitment to the shirt. How can a manager expect to set an example to his squad when he spends something like six hours travelling to and from his home to the Ground for every match and training session.
One of the best Rovers teams was put together in the 1950's when the 'No buy- No sell' policy was in place. Nearly all of the team were local lads and but for an injury to Geoff Bradford with a few games to go would probably have been promoted to the top flight. They certainly did not have the best eleven players around, but they all played for the shirt which went a large way towards making up for their deficiences.
I'm not suggesting that we should employ the likes of Billy Roost or Lewis Hogg to give their all and run around like headless chickens, but we could do with some players who perform with passion. if we're going to lose with the lot who are selected at the moment, then we might as well include some of the young blood, who would at least grab the chance and play with that extra bit of enthusiasm.

I am going to vote for the team to stay up, but only because I can't bear the thought of the alternative.

To stay up the need for players in January has become blatantly obvious, i hope and pray the board can give whoever is in charge the chance to get us out of the mire

yes, totally agree. lund, bolger, walker, branston and eaves all could return to parent clubs. leaves gaps to fill and wages to fill them. also wayne brown not signed his contract extension so he could be off too. so there are funds available. but are there decent players available?

Much appreciated, I firmly believe the board will move to bring players in during the transfer window due to the fact that may be our only chance of turning this situation around

Both Bristol clubs are faced with the same problem. As favourites for relegation, who would want to come here?
