Hello, and welcome to the first ever not606 F1 World Championship! With new regulations brought in by the FIA, the teams should be as even as ever, and it will be up to the drivers to get the best results. Despite the new cost-cutting measures brought in, Caterham, Marussia and HRT have folded. Paul di Resta recently announce he would not participate in the inaugral not606 F1 World Championship, and as a mark as a respect for the great man, Force Indiahave withdrawn.

This leaves us with an 8 team grid as follows:

    Red Bull Racing
    1. Nazara
    2. Stephen Lickorish

    McLaren
    3. BrightLampShade
    4. DHCanary

    Ferrari
    5. Dr Bunson Honeydew
    6. EternalMSC

    Mercedes
    7. MaxWhiplash
    8. tomtom94

    Lotus
    9. El_Bando
    10. RoadRunner

    Sauber
    14. Fred!
    15. SgtBhaji

    Williams
    18. genjigonzales
    19. Julius Caeser

Nazara starts with the number 1 on his car, and as such has added pressure.
Another line up that excites many is that of Dr Bunson Honeydew alongside EternalMSC - a fiery partnership expected here, especially as regards Ferrari's fondness for team orders.

    Calendar
    Australia - Albert Park
    France - Magny Cours
    Italy - Monza
    Germany - Nurburgring
    Monaco - Monte Carlo
    Great Britain - Silverstone
    Austria - Zeltweg
    Belgium - Spa
Canada - Circuit de Gilles Villeneuve
    Brazil - Interlagos

    Australia

Welcome to sunny Albert Park! The first race of this World Championship will begin soon and as yet we do not have a clue about the order. Today will be a very interesting day indeed! Due to the nature of this event, the race will start sometime in the next 24 hours (the time now being 14:10 - 11/12/2012) and the field will have another 24 hours to submit their finish, or until everyone has finished.

    Rule Recap:

Very straight-forward, post the word FINISH as quickly as you can after I post the word START (this is not the start).

Feel free to discuss the race, but keep your eyes out for the start sign!

Aye, fixing that turbo unit he was. Incidently, does an F1 car have to both start and finish the race legal? Could you have some performing enhancing feature designed to fall off before the end of the race, making the car legal when it crosses the line? A bit like the self-deleting programs rumoured to exist a few years ago.

Ah wikipedia, a fountain of F1 knowledge until someone screws up with the editor and claims a penis-shaped racetrack will be sanctioned in the Vatican <doh>

I shat myself when I saw it was updated with yours <laugh>
And now someone'll do the same because of me :D

To hell with Starbucks, I'm the only person in the world that can make me a half-decent cuppa, and even then it's not particularly good. But that's probably because of my bad coffee-making management. But thanks for the brainwave EB, Ima go have a cuppa.

You see what a good teammate he is? :p
