Same here! I am a luddite by comparison. Even the .rar tracking thing by MR seems too matrix like for me!
its easy to do. type cmd in search programes and files in the windows start menu, click on cmd.exe, type netstat -a or netstat -n you will see all the connections to you. stop all p2p programmes etc, send a file to someone type netstat -a or netstat -n = get the ip of the person you are connected to.
And I thought Saints and Pompey fans didn't get on harmoniously. Having read this thread twice I believe MR's version.
im not sure how its complicated. click start button on windows, type cmd in the little box at the bottom, double click cmd.exe, trype netstat -a or netstat -n and thats basically it. look at the ports, anything 80 81 443 is the net so you can count those out.
I would have loved to, but I would have expressed it much more eloquently face to face which I am more used to. Have I upset you in some way I haven't noticed, you seem to have a problem with the majority of my posts? So just for you I will make my position clear on this matter. For the record I truly believe 5-1 was the victim here. I once again ask the person involved to stop, causing someone else grief at work (whoever it is.), is in no way getting at me! Unless it actually does escalate to the point I would need to defend myself to the authorities. Which was the whole point of this thread to hopefully nip it in the bud. AS Steve says easy to do. AND NO I didn't know it off the top of my head, I did a lot of research to find the best way to catch him.
