Why are you calling Jay, 'one goal' he scored 25+ last year, in a weaker side than us. Youre a clown, he needs time to become a true saint. That being said, i think he has been better than Lambert, he tries an awful lot harder, does more defensive work, runs the line better and i think is a better finisher. He will flourish when given the chance, we dont need morons like you abusing players after about 5-10 games, when theyve played well. **** OFF.

    Edit: Better in recent games.

Obviously Lambert has his plus points, and he is a brilliant player, but id like to see us play with a striker really pushing the defenders and stretching htem apart, like Jay, Lambert is the man to play in behind as he is a very creative player.

First source was Alan Nixon who noted the friendship between either Cortese and the player or Cortese and an agent (i cant remember which one). Most of the tabloids reporting the transfer also picked up on a freindship. I thought it was pretty clear that Nigel didn't buy Mayuka as at the time we really didn't and probably still dont need him

Go on the transfer thread and see who he thinks we should buy.

Why cant i have an opinion on who we should buy? if you read my comments i backed up my suggestions with perfectly reasonable explanations on why they are good options.

Lallana is talismanic. Only Rickie and a on song Gaston would be a greater loss. Admitted with Cork, Morgan, Puncheon and Shaw not far behind.

At least if he's injured, it lessens the chance of him leaving in January?

Can't believe the OP post. Lallana replaceable? do you watch the game?

Lallana is what makes the team. Ramirez doesn't even come close and Lambert on song is not close. We will have to dig deep without Lallana believe me because we aren't going to be playing Reading every week!!!

So you'd rather Lambert is injured rather than Lallana? We'd be ****ed without Lambert whereas we can cope without Lallana imo.

Jay Rod did have a fine goal not allowed vs Newcastle to be fair.

I think we will struggle a bit with out LaLa. Not only does he provide the inspiration, we don't have anyone who will slot into that left midfield position. It's not natural for Guly, JWP, Mayuka or J-Rod. Having said all that I'm pretty sure Gaston could do a job there, with someone else supporting Rickie in the middle.

I've just thought..! How about playing a primarily left footed player [Puncheon..?] on the left side. Yes, I know, throw me to the lions for suggesting such a silly move, but has the earth breaking WGS tactic of putting Fabrice Fernandes on the right, put the left footed player, playing on his natural wing, into the annuals of footballing history..? It would be a surprise, in this day and age.

Anybody else could play on the right in an old school formation of wingers [Sorry, what am I saying..? Wide midfielders, I meant] that run to the byline.

Tbh looking at it now, we are very light of good wingers.
