I don't think there's been a Taarabt thread for a while (like two days) so I thought I'd start one! I was encouraged by Phillips' and Tarbs' recent improvements but it seems like they've both reverted back to type and are, in all probability, as sh*t as we thought they were! SWP has been vilified in another thread so its Tarbs turn. He was at his usual crap against Wigan. Slowing play down, doing silly little shimmies before giving the ball away and, according to the Manager, picking his nose when they went through him and scored! Harry doesn't like the kid. He hooked him because he'd seen enough. He doesn't like Cisse either by the looks of things. He's a Manager that demands concentration and effort from his players and Taarabt doesn't give it on a consistent basis. You could maybe forgive him these shortcomings if he made up for it with match winning goals or assists but on the whole, he does little or nothing for us. All hype aside, this player just ain't got it boys. Maybe its time to give him a rest and give Ephraim a try?
For f*ck's sake Jack, its just an opinion. Don't take it personally. I'm just fed up with Taarabt's under-achieving. Not near as bad as Cisse though to be fair to him. He, like Phillips, just doesn't seem to know what to do with the ball when he gets in good positions and it drives me up the wall. There's no need to start having a go at me for it mate.
Swords MH did not do an awful lot for us but the one thing that he did right was to make Adel a much better player, with respect to you Ephraim is not in Adel's class
That's one thing he did do but the much improved Taarabt still ain't looking that good, is he? Ephraim deserves a crack of the whip. He can't be any worse than Tarbs, Phillips or Cisse surely?
OK swords I'll bite.... So while i believe Tarbs has inproved a lot this season (thanks to MH ?), i find it hard to disagree with much you've said there mate. Cant be arsed with the "he's the next messiah, best in the league" crap anymore. Where we end up and what he does or doesnt do again this season will prove enough one way or the other. No point in the argument as xome posters still swear blind he had a good season last season, waste of a conversation i think. Anyway, not sure we have got anyone to replace tarbs with at the mo. He seems to have hit a plateu and maybe is not as good as he was earlier on this season? Yes i know that also goes for a lot of our players (esp Granero - just for you Yorkie/Col). As to the OP mate, dont think there are many that could credibly disagree with you, but i certainly dont blame hime for our current position / loses even if he aint good enough... As for Ephraim....you been drinking ?

Keep me out of it. Swords is just looking for a ruck with anyone because he's bored and has too much time on his hands. Just like the last thread calls for self flagellation, my conscience is clear. I know i can't be right all the time but you know well that I am right most of the time. It takes all you colonials a few weeks to get there.
