Thomas the Cat. I agree with your OP. We seem to be ok for players just now and rather than have someone coming in to disrupt the harmony that appears to exist in the dressing room . I would concentrate on getting Hooper and Victor signed up. I think Kayal may not be too happy and a lot may be decided depending on him been picked over the next month or so. I think he isn't prepared to stay if not first choice and I am not sure if Lennon is that pleased with form this season. If he did go it could open a space for a more creative midfielder. However i am quite happy with what we have.
Can't see us signing anyone in January. There just aren't players available at that time of the year that are better than we've got and, more importantly, can afford. As others have said, getting the likes of Wanyama and Hooper on longer contracts is the most important thing. If an EPL club does come calling in the summer then we'll get an even better deal for them. Apparently, Lennon is meeting with Hopper's agent this weekend to thrash out a new deal.
So Neil Lennon has missed out on being the youngest ever manager of an EPl side or SPL side, to qualify for last 16, by losing out to a foreigner who had to check his post every day to see that his success starved Russian who became a multi billionaire within a few years, had not decided to try some-one else to get him his success the money he put into Chelsea deserved. No shame in that Neil, we know the EPL is contaminated in general by money but Chelsea is contaminated in particular. I suppose Neil Lennon is the youngest Irish, English, Scottish or Welsh man to qualify, or maybe Thomas will enlighten us with, no he is not.
i generally ignore the drivel that you spout and not sure why i read this. so you post a comment someone corrects you and you get your arse out <moron>
I can't help if your curiosity and eagerness for knowledge means you cannot resist reading my posts. The fact that you admit to reading them against your will must make you a special moron who lacks self control.
Dev, you cannot help yourself either, your lack of self control knows no bounds because you put me on ignore and then take wee peeps at my posts, really you should be ashamed of yourself and as far as I know it is regarded by decent posters that it is wrong to recommend other to ignore a particular poster. Of course Dev, you couldn't be expected to know what any decent person, no less poster should act. The thing that really shows what Dev and the shadowknows are like, I was posting genuine positive posts about Celtic and Neil Lennon on the week that Celtic secured a Scottish record in qualifying for the last 16 in Champions League and I get attacked by these two idiots.
It's as if you've cut words out of a newspaper or magazine, put them in a hat, pulled them out randomly and typed them on here in whatever order they came out. Pure, unadulterated gibberish
Hold onto the team as is... Send Miku back to Spain Get in a creative attacking midfielder and, maybe, a CB. That's all... If Celtic don't sign anyone in January (and keep team as is) then I'd be happy.

hearing lots of talk that people think schalke / malaga would be easy games. to use an old cliche, no esay games at this stage. both teams won their groups and will be tough. i especially want to avoid all three german teams. i would like us to draw psg
