Lionell messi scored 86 goals in 2012, a few more than Sunderland !. but he only scored 3 headers a poor return i would say, but 74 inside the penalty area, so if we sign him he will get about 6 in 2013 with the way we play!. He is up there with Pele, Gerd muller and Gordon armstrong!.

As far a superstars go, I don't find him an interesting/entertaining character.

Probably because he doesn't come across as a massive ****.

    Extremely over rated.

Only got one foot as well.

Playing against diddy defences week in, week out as well.

I really can't begin to comprehend how nobody has noticed the huge, glaring flaw in Lionel Messi as a footballer. It's beggers belief that he gets the credit that he does while he has possesses this horrendous flaw...

He doesn't play for Sunderland :emoticon-0101-sadsm

    Johan Cruyff was the greatest.

    Same with Matt Le Tissier.

There are hundreds of great players that don't come up against diddy teams all the time like Messi does. Vastly over rated. If you were to put him in with a bunch of diddies like say Watford players, he would be rubbish.

I said who is better not who was better.

    Matt Le Tissier?

I don't even want to discuss this with you further you're quite clearly mentally handicapped. You might as well have said that Freddie Flintoff is a better heavyweight boxer than Muhammed Ali. You tit.

Please sir, no need to be insulting.

Johan Cruyff was THE greatest ever.

    Just pipping Pele.

Messi would struggle to get in the top 10. It's unfair because he is playing against drap all the time.

Reckon he'd be able to do the bizo on a cold Thursday night in January in downtown Nuneaton?

    I fear not somehow.

    Downtown Nuneaton?

You're right, you're literally too stupid to insult.

    Please stop the insults.

I'm trying to engage you in logical discussions.

    You're shwing yourself up sir.

It's not big and it's not clever.

I can see you have copped out of the conversation as there ia basic flaw in your argument.

You resort to petty insults when confronted with someone of esteemed knowledge and has a piercing insight to the qualities of a footballer.

I take your insults as proof that I am indeed correct.

There's not an ounce of logic in your argument. You're saying a bloke who scored fourteen goals in the champions league last year, 86 in total in the calendar year couldn't perform in Downtown Nuneaton.

It's not logical, it's idiotic. You don't judge a footballer based on their ability to play in a **** game you judge them on their ability to shine at the highest level. Now that's logic.

He couldn't have laced Diego Maradonna's drinks I'm afraid.

Or Liam Brady's for that matter.
