Ok, I could have called it 'Who do we sue', but that sounded too poetic. First post on here, but especially over the last 2 weeks I've been watching the board like a hawk, so please be nice! So, we've been hit with a fine of 875,000 GBP. Who's going to pay it? The Sun, for putting up such a biased back page a couple of weeks back? Talks*(t for.... well, doing the same? Dave Jones, for being Dave Jones? Or do we finally get rid of Paladini and take the fine's ammount from his severance pay?
I doubt it, as far as I can see the did not predudice the outcome at all as there was no points deduction. Bernie & co will sort the fine out, just loose change for them, which might be why some supporters of other clubs are claiming the FA bottled it. QPR have a huge financial backing so a fine may not seem the most appropriate punishment.
'The panel imposed a fine of ã800,000 for a breach of FA Rule E3 - which relates to bringing the game into disrepute - and a fine of ã75,000 for breaking Rule A1, which outlaws the use of unauthorised agents.' From http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/13318784.stm
That is the 1 some people will point at with regards to the FA having no bottle. Personally I do not know the ins and outs of the case, but that does not stop less rational people from spouting ****e!
Bring the game into disrepute was presumably Paladini shooting his mouth off about paying ã3.5 million Faurlin. Maybe he will pay that himself. The unauthorised (not illegal) agent was surely because the F.A. didn't keep their records up to date. Perhaps The Sun want to pay that for being a bunch of tw@ts. Can't wait for NW to let loose when the dust has settled.
Well hopefully we'll sue the Sun for libel. The fine's should be paid by Paladini as most of this seems to be his fault. As it is, I can imagine Bhatia and Sahksena allowing Paladini significantly less control over the club now that this has happened
If this whole painful saga was really about justice, then the bill would be paid by Paladini, the man who defended his actions by effectively telling the FA: don't be silly, I wasn't lying to you - I was only lying to our fans!
If this is true then the 'false' documentation charge has been dropped, which was the one worrying me the most. If this means the documentation was in fact genuine, we should be sueing the FA BIG TIME. How f*****g dare they?! And how incompetent are their Investigators
I thin kthat the false documentation charge was because Paladini claimed thet Faurlin cost ã3.5 million and the paper work said ã600k. Gun foot, foot gun.
