Have Liverpool signed James Collins Dai? Terrific goal there mate, if they haven't, you should tell your mate to get his cheque book out!.......... Bonymaen don't be so facetious!! On second thought's it's only Dai!.................
Yes your right Dai, so when do you think Michu will be going to Liverpool? January? or May?....................
..Febuary, as emergency goal keeper! he already had a medical, huw jenkins drove him there after the game yesterday
Although written in classic jest, ironically this is a lot closer to a true valuation of Gerard than 'Pools is of Michu.
That's funny Bony, well done mate Michu won't need to go in goals, they've got Suarez for that best diver around
I notice Dai's done a runner again! No I'm being harsh he's probably had to go out shopping or something .
Now you be carefull young Dilligaf or I'll report you for not being nice to Dai's team! please log in to view this image
You see your not thinking things through again, siggs was offered a wage they thought he was worth, he wanted more so fair play to Liverpool and Brendan for not bending to his whims....you pay a player what he is worth and if you think they cant afford to triple what we can pay then your deluded more than i thought.....Perhaps someone else will come in for him now that Brendan has made it known, but what he has done is start the ball rolling......Im still hopeful a deal can be done with whoever turns michu's head that he stays with us till the season is over....I dont want him to go but as a realist then i know we will have no chance of keeping him when the big clubs pledge their deals to him...he will be off like a rabbit up a drain pipe like joe allen did....thats life and we will just have to move on.....Its not a problem is it...
As you so superior to the rest of us, this is just for you Dai.
If the rumours doing the rounds of him having a release clause are true I'd be rather upset if I was a Swan.
Musty Michu in contract talks as we speak. Toela65 Even with release clause the player has to want to go. If what I'm told is correct then Michu has no desire to leave Swansea or ML, he is very happy and excited about where he is right now. I know we've all heard this before but he's given ML names of players he knows would fit in here and he's been on the phone with some, along with ML and HJ, to talk about coming here in Jan (Pablo Hernadez has done this too), hence both ML and HJ confidence re January xfer window. Doesn't sound like someone planning an imminent departure to me. Michu and Swansea City AFC are well suited, I am very confident he'll still be hear in Feb, unless of course, silly money £20 plus, comes our way. Then HJ & Board will consider whats best for our club, Silly £££ could secure us with 5/10 more Michu's, who knows.
Stumpy, great news if it's correct..... made my day! Not doubting your post, mate, but how do you know this? Can we take it as a fact, or is it rumour?
Hi Ivor, The level of the people I know in the office aren't always told everything but they've been pretty accurate so far. I always err on the side of caution so don't take what I say as 100% fact, I just reproduce what I've been told. Some contract negotiations are behind the scenes as opposed to those reported in the news media. Re Michus, it would appear that this is quietly being done. This was surmised from activity seen around the office and that, apparently, meetings have been scheduled including Michu and his representative or agent. This makes them think that 2 + 2 hopefully = 4 and we will re-sign Michu under a new improved contract. Re Michu & Hernadez helping to sign players with HJ, ML etc, 100% fact Whether Michu will stay is totally dependent on offers but, only silly money need apply. So we should be happy whatever happens but in all likely hood, if offers aren't £20M plus, he'll be staying. More worried about Hernandez, apparently a few cheeky bids on the way and he is not as settled as Chico, Ki, Michu, de Guzman are. He is a little home sick, so we may be worrying about the wrong player. On a positive note to this, ML is his hero and it would take a lot, unlikely offers from Barcelona, Real Madrid, to pries him away. So next home game shout his name loud and make him proud to be a Swan So Ivor, more than a pinch of salt I think but, like me, be cautious.
