I had said on another thread that i've only seen the live incident, not read any articles or pictures etc. I was there last season and the camera angle on rio was from the away end and it looked like he was looking toward the city fans and celebrating.

 

The camera angle wasn't great, particularly for a bowl stadium. But if you look at the pictures and the positions of the Utd players behind him you can see he's looking straight up into the area of the stand with the Utd fans.

Either way, it shows the gulf in class between the supporters that Rio and Rooney get assaulted for daring to celebrate, and yet Balotelli can taunt our fans for several minutes and get nothing more than a few boos. Good job we don't have the mentality of the City fans or Tevez would come out of OT with enough cash to afford another golf holiday...

Nine charged for throwing coins during Man City vs Man Utd.

Can anyone remind me how many were charged when Everton fans lobbed coins at Suarez in October? They even received a warning for the same offence last season.

 

We didn't have the same level of accuracy & somehow missed his gormless grid.

Don't think any have been charged with throwing coins. One of public order, one racially aggravated public order, two breached banning orders, two with pitch invasions and three with D&D.

I think they haven't identified the ones who threw the coins. They should just look for the City fans walking home after the game, having lost their bus fare...

Who's been telling you that ****?? RVP has scored 11 goals this season, which have earned us 17 points. Without RVP we'd have 22 points and goal difference of +6.

So even without RVP, we'd still be ahead of Liverpool
