Don't know if we would be, but I'm pretty sure he will leave January or summer.

Yeah, keep on listening to the news, they're known for accurately knowing our transfer interests <doh>

Have you not figured out yet? BR will be linked with any Swans player on a run of form.

    Not January.

I'm not sure if we will go tbh. Not this year.

I guess it depends on where Swansea finish.

At 26 I am surprised he is only just attracting big attention.

Also, at 26, if his fee is big our owners wont pay it. I cannot see the resale value to provide a fail safe.

  7. I hope any signings we make arrive very early in January, we play Man Utd on 13th and Arsenal on 30th!

Which is strange because Michu has nothing to do with Rodgers.

I don't think you'll have the summer you're expecting, you'll probably buy enough because the owners need to avoid another Dempsey fiasco but I'm not sure they'll spend very big.

Well financial fair play changes how it all works any way.

It will take time to build revenues big enough to buy £35million players again.

I do think we'll get either Walcott or Sturridge in January.

    I'd prefer Walcott.

He's a man on a mission to do well.

Given a proper opportunity he'd deliver.

Split between Sturridge and Walcott - wouldn't mind both to be honest. Both are versatile and can play along the wrong line, both are quick and skillful and can score goals.

I think Michu is a great example of why we shouldn't buy british. £3m for the top scoring midfielder in La Liga last season FFS.

The price seems to be inflated when a bigger club is interested.Dont think we would have gotten them for 3mil even had we shown interested, probably would been double that.

Hopefully we have shrugged off the 'easy to fleece' reputation in the upcoming transfer windows.

    agree,

we would have been quoted a completely dif figure if we was interested.

like the commentator said in the Europa game the other day, Liverpool is still a top attraction to clubs to beat even if its a reserve team or made up of mostly youngsters they are playing, the name is enough to motivate them,or something along those lines anyway, we still hold a lot of respect in Europe, just a shame we get shafted with transfer fees as we can still attract decent players here and the selling clubs know this, just picking them lol, but then we don't have to pay the silly fees quoted do we lol so we are our own worst enemy, or has been(hopefully!), for allowing clubs to shaft us.

  20. Although I agree, the theory is slightly flawed when you look at Assaidi <ok>
