He was ****ing outstanding on Saturday, I thought - some players had an off-day (Hooper, Wanyama) but the captain kept the team together. His touch and flick in the 22-passes-every-outfielder-touched-the-baw goal was sublime. He had his usual shaky pass(es) and deserved yellow card but he was everywhere. Whatever he's rubbing on that injury, I want some of it. The Killie midfield never had any time on the baw at all without him popping up in their faces much like he did in the first CL game with Benfica. Without Broony, the sub-standard performances of others would've been shown up and we could've lost all three points on Saturday. He was genuinely that important - if he doesn't need the surgery anymore, he should spend January on light training and relaxing. We're gonna need him in February \0/
