Good report in the Guardian this morning, though probably only because we were playing Watford. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/dec/09/hull-steve-bruce-championship-watford
If this is the first time they've reported us like this all season, then it is probably because they were playing Watford.
To be fair their coverage of anything but the Premiership is pretty poor - they usually only feature one Championship match
That is typical of the general sporting press in England as a whole. "Only the Premiership matters, no other leagues in the world have no relevance. Unless the game involves Messi or Ronaldo" is the general trend in the papers.
"He is Egyptian but a local of almost half a century's standing; he has no plans for a statue of Michael Jackson."
If you're so desperate for City to appear in the newspapers go read the football league paper. There's a report on every match in there from people who know what they're on about. Also Kammy put Bruce in has his gaffa of the week in his bit in the Sun- something he;s done quite abit this season. But please stop bleating on about not being talked about by the press, you're making us sound like a bunch pansy scousers.

Who cares,. We get what we get nationally. At least the HDM is a quality read for Hull City fans. I like the look on Almunias face in the picture.
Being in the Media Spotlight or not, never seems to bother me. It's amazing now that we're playing well that we're getting some recognition but still ... meh. I do have to say we're starting to sound very bitter about it at the moment and we really shouldn't be. Come on lads, just enjoy the Season.
its always better in my opinion to remain in the shadows, but you can bet your life that although the media don`t seem to notice us, the rest of the Championship managers are aware if what we`re about. Zola, O`Driscell and other recent managers have all commented about our ability on the ball, the word is out there don`t you worry that we`re a top top team in this Division, the footballing world are aware, and we`re aware thats the main thing. The media will onyl get interested come end of April into May.
"Poise in possession across the field." That's a description that has never been applied to HCAFC. Keep up the good work Brucey and COYH!!
The last time we burst into the media spotlight after promotion the assembled southern hacks liked to comment on how many takeaway there are in Hull and how this made it a) a bad place b) shows how poor and fat inhabitants are. The fact that there are more takeaways in around Kings Cross alone than all of Hull or indeed more McDonalds in London than takeaways put together in Hull completely escaped their attention. I think I can live without the national press attention.
For those who cannot attend saturdays game @ the KC with Huddersfield Town or pick up Burnsy & Swanny on Humberside,,, tune into SSN news from 12-noon as they will be doing Live match reports apparantly.
