Can't see why City fans are copping so much flak for this. If you tease a caged lion, put your hand through the cage and it bites your arm off, who's fault is it?

The only thing worse than a bad loser is a bad winner which is exactly what Ferdinand is, same applies to RVP, Rooney, Evra and the whole lot of ****s that play for that club.

Media are so up United's asses it's unreal.

Soured what was a great game of football, thoroughly enjoyed watching that game but this has ticked me off and did when Hernandez did in front of the MH.

The first non-United player that scores in front of the Stretford End with his teammate deliberately provoking them will be castigated, you just know it.

Stupid behaviour by those individual City fans but it's stupid they'll face criminal charges with lifetime bans all because of the actions of that **** who will escape scot-free and branded a hero for playing on and "taking it on the chin".

So basically you're a fan of the days when coins, seats, lighters and other such crap were thrown onto the pitch, which ultimately resulted in fences going up....etc?

Don't let your bitterness cloud your common sense DL. It's a game, why do people need to be hurt or abused or have their lives ruined to satisfy the obsessive anger of people who have nothing else to live for?

Piss poor behavior by the City 'fan' and if/when hes caught i hope he gets a life ban and a day at the magistrates court.<ok>

Could have been avoided though if the celebration was not in front of the home fans, football is highly charged game both off the field as well as on it and players should realize that their actions can cause trouble in the stands.

The Manchester derby is never full of love and affection and incidents like this can cause kick off's in the city centre after the game.

It's difficult for United fans to understand because you can't really capture the atmosphere/emotions of a game on a Sky Box but the context has to be taken into consideration.

Both the City fan and Ferdinand were at fault.

If you as a fan cannot stand seeing the other team celebrate without blowing a gasket and throwing coins and behaving like some ******, then you shouldn't attend a football match and stay at home <ok> are fans so damn precious that no one can celebrate within several yards of them? If these c*nts at the Etihad and SB can give it then they should learn to take it too.. <ok>

If the lipless **** choses to celebrate the goal right bang in front of the City fans then its understandable why he got hit as the city lads hate the plastic manc glory hunting bastards.

No doubt you are a major fan of mindless violence in the name of a game. Very well done!

Sorry DL but you are wrng on this occassion

Remember Jose running down the touch line in front of Liverpool fans in the Carling Cup Final with his fingers on his lips when your lot scored? Or that ****ing idiot spurs fan that tried to attack Lampard after you won at our place in the cup and he celebrated in front of spurs fans?

Presumerably they deserved to be hit with something.

In both these cases and yesterday the fans dished it out and then 1 prick can't deal with losing

Football fans dish **** out so should be able to take a player giving it back without resorting to violence.

If you're going to celebrate a goal of that magnitude in the biggest game of the season for City fans in front of those City fans, what do you think is going to happen? Just like Hernandez celebrated in front of the Matthew Harding this season as he scored United's third goal. I don't think it right to chuck things at a player but what did he expect to happen ffs!?
