Because I have refused to subscribe to BATES benevolent fund I have watched our neighbours a few times.Yesterday i watched them against Bolton
The players who stood out were Jack Hunt a Leeds born lad who is the best right back in the championship this lad kept Bellamy quite so I am going to stick my neck out and say hes the best back Town have had since Ray Wilson !
This leads me onto what I have stated we shpould swap Peltier and White for Hunt .Simon wanted Peltier this summerhe has not settled at Leeds and White well he can,t get a starting place.Hunt on the other hand is good enough for the premeirship I think he could well play for England some day soon
thats as good as he is!
Eagles was amazing scoring a very good goal and awesome pace for £1m a snip
Other who played well Jay Spearing Andrews and Clayton

Everyone has been talking up Hunt though, I think he'd command a fee and both Peltier and White don't really. White would be lucky to go for 400k and Peltier has probably dropped in value if anything since joining. Good player though, eagles I have always rated as well

That would still leave us without a quality LB (as Warnock doesn't seem to want to use Drury) so pointless swapping Peltier and White for Hunt when we already have Byram who's been impressive at RB <ok>

Really don't know why Drury doesn't play at left back, he's a left back afterall. Warnock still seems to persist playing Peltier all over the back four. It's almost like he has to personally justify signing him. I don't believe he would have signed him if he'd have known at the time that Byram would be so good.

The thing is that Hunt is the best in the championship he will command a big fee oneday he was duelling with Warnock yesterday who I believe played for England it was no contestnthats why we must get him now before the big boys see him

Yep, time to drop Peltier now. Good on him for taking up the captaincy and trying to get fans back to Elland Road, but he's not leadership material and Warnock made a big mistake in promoting him to a job he was never capable of. Defence of...

    Judas Drury - Lees - Pearce/Tate - Byram

    Would do just fine.

That said, I'm not too big on the idea of buying Tate on a permanent - too similar for Lees to me when we should be buying someone like Wes Morgan or Jack Chester, who I think are realistic targets when they could move on to a far bigger and better club like us now the takeover's being completed.

I think it's James Chester that you are talking about! And I think unless you put in 15 million, you won't have a chance in getting him! And he wouldn't go to a club 10 places below in the table!

Whatever, these small club players all sound the same to me. Hard to remember their name unless they stake their claim for greatness by moving to a titan like Leeds.

Iv'e heard he might do just that,Geo. Just a rumour, but i do get the odd snippet of inside information. We got him from Manchester united,so your'e quite right,he has tasted life at a big club.and i think he'll want to do so again at Leeds.

When we've already got Byram I'm not sure there's much point. I also don't get why Warnock seems so determined to find a way of fitting Peltier into the side when, in my opinion at least, White and Drury are both better options for LB. If Peltier can't get in at RB or CB he'll just have to wait for his chance rather than looking lost out on the left.
