would be just what we need to boost our FOR line for the run in, we need to KILL teams off. We are playing very good football by all accounts BUT we need the killer touch of a natural goal getter. Our DEF could do with being abit tighter aswell.

Same thing was said about Collymore. Yeah OK it´s a bit ambitious but that´s the sort of player we´ll need in the prem (if we ever get there) to stay up & the way the wages are now a days we´ll need to spend a bit of money unless we unearth about 8 gems like MO´N did. There´s a ? next to whether or not we´ll go up with this squad & with the lge being as tough as it is & I doubt we´ll be able to survive the prem without about 6 prem quality players added. I just think it may be a good idea to try & strenthern the squad with some of these type of players that are just sitting on the bench for their clubs getting p´ed off because they´re not getting a game, there must be some good players out there we can get to send a message.
Bent would only come in on loan (like Yakubu), but I can't even see that happening if I'm honest. When we signed Collymore we were an established Prem side.
If the only stumbling block is wage........... If you got him on loan until the end of the season it would be more likely. You have the cash. However, would he want to drop down a division ?
Not a chance in hell Bent would join a Championship side now. More likely he go somewhere like Liverpool.
Bent is still a very good striker, for one reason or another things just arent working for him at Villa I think QPR will be the first ones putting a bid in for him

Absolutely not. He'll go to QPR in the JTW and show how good he is. Too good for this league, there is a reason Villa paid 18m (rising to 24m which is probably why he's been completely frozen out of the side) for him.

Bent will definitely be playing in the Premiership in January. Personally think Sunderland will be in for him.
