Just been reading that a City fan ran on the pitch towards Rio and Joe Hart restrained the pitch invader. at the City fan but fair play to Joe Hart
look at the scrawny **** **** himself when faced with Hart and Rio. I would say that's one of his poorer life decisions, but from the look of him it's at the end of a long list...
I thought Utd deserved the win, helped no end by Mancini preferring numbnuts to Tevez Valencia was excellent,a real handful Not over yet by a long way but its a significant lead going into Christmas
Look ar Rio hiding behind Jo giving it Billy Big Bollox. It was probably Rio's coke dealer asking him to pay back his debt from 2003
I do wonder if Mancini was hoping Balotelli might give Evans a nightmare again, and Tevez might get a bit carried away facing Utd (as he did in the closing stages)? A fairly big gamble when you consider form, but it's one of those that if it works everyone says he's a genius, if not everyone says he's a muppet. Definitely interesting now - 2006 was the last time we beat our main rivals and failed to win the title, so City have a lot to do and a big test of character right now, but way to early to be talking about the title.
So essentially were hoping to have someone throw a coin at them injuring one of their number? Yep always Utd's fault.
I thought you did well in the midfield battle but after last seasons games Sir Alex set up with the right tactics, Absorb your attacks and break quick. This was obviously helped by the fact that Numbnuts can go missing all by himself where as Aguero and Tevez even if having a bad game will be working there nuts off and creating problems for the defence.
Good tactics from SAF. Let them have the ball in midfield and pick them off with quick attacks down the wings.. Well deserved victory. What the f*ck is going on? We seem to bloody denied good f*Cking goals in every bloody match. Last time a goal crossed the line afull yard, today a full yard on side. FFS these bloody refs are supposed to be on our payroll
home again and time to reflect. The title is never won in December let alone March but we have definitely laid down a marker. City lose for the first time at home in 2 years and it's us !!!!! Thought the ref was quite good overall but city certainly got " Stuck in " in the second half, which is something that Mancini has instilled into them. A tougher referee could quite easily have sent off a couple of players ( and they wore blue ) but the " Bitters " got their comeupance. Can't remember when I enjoyed a derby at the " enemy's ground so much, maybe because we attacked and took the game to them. Anyway a long way to go but at least we are going in the right direction
A number of positives: 1. The officials ****ed us but we still won - obviously this won't be acknowledged by the haters but we can enjoy the victory even more knowing that it will upset them even more 2. Unlike last season we went toe to toe with them and showed that we can match and beat them 3. We've played 9 away to City's 7 so the 6 point gap is pretty impressive
It seems that the refs and officials have to give one or two decisions against United to prove themselves. Good result. We went there and beat them. could and should have been more comprehensive as it would have been 3-0 instead of 2-1 and therefore game over. A goal to win it in the last minute of injury time does compensate somewhat
