If my calculations are correct, we'll be 2nd in the 'form league' after ManUre!!! (I use 'footstats' and it hasn't been updated after the weekend's results). A massive achievment - so take a bow - the board, CH, the players and last but not least, US - the fans!!!!
Third, but hey, it's still bloody impressive http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html
Actually jr, stoke maybe above us, there's a thread on the saints board implying it Interestingly fulham are bottom, the team that destroyed us in August Edit dazz has put it up, last 6 games only though counted
That's OK, but six matches won't do! City are on a ten match unbeaten run, including both ManUre and Stoke!
Who cares about the form table? We're not a million miles away from top half in the actual table. Did I forget to mention to Chris Hughton is an absolute hero?
Also nice to see that Wigan's last 6 away games have included 5 losses, and a single win (at Tottenham). Villa's away form is only a point better too. If only games were played on paper...
If we can win the game against Wigan and then win at an out-of-sorts Baggies then the table will start to look very interesting indeed...
We didn't beat Wigan last year, hope we can put that right on sat or at least avoid defeat The table is very congested from 12th up to 4th/5th, more so than below us
Yeah, I am a little wary of this game I must admit although going to stick my neck out and say 2-0 to Norwich. They certainly didn't roll over and die for us last season but hopefully with so many players missing with injury we stand a decent chance of 3 points. Hopefully their dodgy keeper will also help us out as he seems to do nearly every other week.
We just need to snuff out their passing game Thai, ch will have this in mind They have injuries too you're right
Yes, My calculations were slightly wrong - but I'll take 3rd in the 'form league' and it's more than good enough to keep us in the Premier League for at least another year.
They had Victor Moses last year and he was the deciding factor on the day - he gave our defence a torrid time and deserved his equaliser. We also played poorly that day with no wingers on the pitch as I recall and it all got a bit clogged up in midfield. They are still a useful side who play good football and Kone looks a handful so it should be an evenly fought game. Hopefully Turner and Tettey will be back on Saturday to give the defence a bit of stability. Fancy us to keep the run going and extend it further with a point at the Hawthorns.
