Diame does seem to be a bit injury prone though. I'm sure he was out for a while last year with constant injurys and wasn't there a rumour about him having a dodgy heart as well?

Crazy game. No doubt that Diame's injury changed it in our favour. But I'm happy with the win. Very important win for us, especially if lessons can be learned from our less than impressive performance.
Half an hour ago I was bemoaning the worst performance of the season. Now, we have won and are top half only 4 points off of fourth. Most weeks we play well and dont get the result. This week wasnt our best game and we got the result... Withthe fixtures coming up if we can continue this 3 game winning run and work on our weaknesses, things could be looking much better by january.
couldn't believe we could win that. sat fumeing after going 2-1 down. couldn't hold the ball and overrun in the midfield. how we ended up with 62% posession i haven't a clue cos they were all over us for 75% of the game... but its a good 3 points..
4th spot to 12 spot is sooo tight. Our next 5 games are so crucial, if we play anywhere near our best we could find ourselves in and around 4th going in to January. From there on in it gets much more tougher with a difficult run of fixtures, around a time where we'll be looking to bring some players in (hopefully). Downing wasn't our worst player today, but I have no idea why he keeps starting. I'd rather Robinson be tried at LB and I'd rather Assaidi, Suso or Pacheco played ahead of him on the wing. He brings next to nothing to the team, on a day where we needed an extra spark with Suarez out. Not a fan of Cole, but if he chips in with goals I'm not going to complain, he was alright when he came on. Makes a change winning while playing bad, it's usually the reverse. 3 wins on the bounce, top half of the table and 5 very winnable games coming up, now is the time to push on and climb up the table.
Yeah,I was fuming at 2-1 and thinking a draw was the best possible outcome.Even that looked unlikely. But hey,we've dropped points this season where we've deserved more so.............
Probably because when West Ham got the ball, Collins just whacked it long and they only had it for spells of about 20 seconds before we then had it back for 2 or 3 minutes at a time.
We really do need a red Christmas, it's very tight this year. Great win today for the team's confidence.

10 points out of 15 from the last 5 games. Next 5 games: Aston Villa (Home) Fulham (Home) Stoke City (Away) QPR (Away) Sunderland (Home)
I'd be happy with winning the home games and getting a point from the away matches, that would give us eleven points. However, we always seem to struggle against Sunderland, maybe beat QPR instead?
Villa - Win Fulham - Win Stoke - Draw QPR - Win Sunderland - Win Don't think that's unrealistic and would give us 13 out of 15 and certainly move us a lot closer to 4th place.
Dont start that **** again! Do you remember my points prediction thread last year? How many points would we get from the remaining 39? i think we got about 6, Kenny got fired and I had a mob with burning torches at my door all summer, had to resort to eating wall paper!
