Leeds should be getting some of their reserves back, fair play to them yesterday, they dismantled Swansea.

I saw 90% of games he played for Leeds and he was good in about four of them. Never have I seen a worse marker of men.

With his Man U connections and arrogant Manc disposition, it's no surprise that Leeds fans slate him.

    Yer dad's a ****, and so are you. <whistle>

He has had to prove himself with us. Steve Bruce was knocked for bringing him in, but as a player, Alex has shown that he is worth a place in the team.

The truth is that the only thing you can do is name call, as you will lose the argument over the player and the manager.

I can believe that he's doing well at Hull, just like I can that Schmeichel does OK at Leicester (as much as people seem to believe I'm incapable of such a high level of comprehension). But players of that ilk can't hack it at a big club like Leeds where there's onerous expectation.

The namecalling is just football fans being tribal and partisan, like when we abuse Robbie Brady or Ben Amos for being 'scum bastards' as well. Think nothing of it.

I've got to be honest, he's doing better than I thought he would and I still think he's gash. Shows what low expectations we all had of him after his Leeds disaster.

He can't mark, he ball-watches, he can't pass short, he can't pass it long, he's slow as ****... so on and so forth

I think most players can hack it at a mediocre mid table Championship club.

    Big club....
So big they had to close an entire stand for a whole season because there was such lack of interest in attending.
So big that they're by percentage of population the worst supported club in the UK in the biggest city with only one football team

Edit - oh balls, I forgot the reason fans dont attend is because of
    a) protest against Bates
    b) high prices
    c) both of these and never
    d) because they're THE most fickle glory supporting fans.
As a thought why dont you look towards Rangers or Man City as big clubs? Both of whom sold out their stadiums every week when dropping down rather than wiping 15k off the attendances almost overnight.

Hang on let's look at the facts. When he came to us, the expectation was that he was only signed because of his Dad and that he would be a waste of money. Leeds could not get the best out of the player, because you lack the management.
This we are a bigger club rubbish is just fishing, are you some sort of daft lad or what. Your club thrives on its past because its future is ****e.

    Ti amo.

    <ok>

Well you must have been reading some pretty unfunny things this weekend then, because us being a big club is an empirically evident fact.

Well we've already debunked the 'closed a whole stand' thing, because it was only part of the East Stand which was closed (and that was because of Bates scrimping on stewarding costs). Yes, we have been and many are still boycotting. Yes, there are poor community relations between club and city which means fans are unlikely to come back immediately in big numbers. That's Bates' fault, because Ridsdale and Leighton were doing a good job of building that outreach until their financial model projectile shat all over the fanbase. Man City and Rangers fans didn't boycott. The reasons for that are no business of mine in particular, but we could certainly have got full houses in League One if our board was ambitious, invested in the team, advertized and grafted to get people from the local area back, restored pride, relaxed stewarding and improved atmospheres, cut ticket prices, etc.

When a Hull player lines up outside the Generic Sponsor Stadium (or whatever it's called), they know they should put in their best, but even if they have a bad game they'll still be ultimately forgiven and get a chance to redeem themselves. At Elland Road, players know they have two shots at most, because they'll be crucified if they're seen to not perform properly, and jeered throughout the season. Warnock's management style enhances that as well.

This boycott has really been going on for some time now.... So considering the sale of your club has now proceeded and Bates is not going to be involved in the day-to-day running of the club I assume therefore we will see sell-outs every home game for the rest of the season? Because otherwise your boycott argument would not only be futile and embarrassing but also factually incorrect.

    So basically, you are saying:

    1. Your fans are ******s.
    2. So is your manager.

Don't think many people would dispute that. You must be proud.

I thought to be considered a BIG club, you have to have won something.
I dont know L**ds history so please do tell.... what have L**ds won?
I admit that Hull arent a big club because we havent won anything - our biggest claim to fame is being up to 3rd in the premiership. L**ds are able to eclipse that?

    WTF?!?!

You should be worried about Hudders- your real rivals 15 miles down the road and breathing down your neck in Jimmy Saville Land.

So Leeds players can only have 2 bad games before the fans get on their backs and jeer them?

And Leeds think their support is good? <yikes>

I dont think they are a big club. It is all what you have done for me lately when it comes to sports. It isnt what you did for me once upon a time. They were a big club and one day they may be a big club again. They are no different then any other club in the championship. It isnt an insult, they just are not currently a Man U, Man City etc.
