The home crowd's not happy, but they're completely wrong. Friend's been appropriately named for them today.

i get what you mean here CJ...im hoping for a smash and grab by us..we havent shown anything in attack because it feels as though we are too worried about stopping them instead of playing our own game.

Fantastic football I hope not to be spoiled by disputed penalties. Everton produced a fantastic spell of pressure but we have kept them out. With Spurs showing they are dangerous too. Adebayor is getting well pushed around without much protection. Great game let's hope the second half is as good.

He's given several exceptionally poor decisions your way, Shogun. The really blatant one was Fellaini holding back Dembele, but there were a number of others.
Don't get me wrong, you've been the better side and are probably unlucky not to be ahead, but Friend's been bloody poor.

We need to sort out our left wing. Would Sigurdsson for Dempsey help? Maybe bringing on Huddlestone or Carroll and moving Dembele out there would do it. Risky, though.

Completely agree we don't want to win (or lose) by some debatable penalty.
I would love a smash and grab win but maybe I'm being a bit greedy.

Dempsey is doing alot of tracking back....do you think Sig has that kind of game in him?

plus i think if we are hoping for a smash and grab then Demps is a safer bet than Sig to bundle one in.

I thought Parker may be on the bench today. Could really do with someone like him in a match like this even if it was only for half an hour or so. Dempsey hasn't been great but neither has Adebayor. I would be tempted to put Siggy on for one of those.

To be fair it's a difficult game to ref because of the speed of the play. There have been some poor decisions the worst I think Dembele, but on the other hand he spotted both penalty appeals and got them right.

no point in bringing on siggy as he offers virtually nothing and if we take dembele out the centre then were trying to solve one problem by possibly creating another.

Call me crazy but AVB speaks english? he could just have a word with dempsey and tell him to be more aware of his duties playing on the left as iI'll ike to see dempsey stay on as hes liable to knick a goal.
