    Can't quite remember, but I think you're right about them having to have an automatic loss. Maybe even greater than 3-0 after that fiasco. After all somebody could have been killed. I bet one or two stewards will be having their ears bent over it.

    Was watching the match with the other half who is a ManU supporter. We both thought at the time, that Rio had accidentally poked himself in the eye whilst celebrating the goal, thought it was hilarious. However, it is now being reported that he was hit above the eye by an object, (possible coin)? Thrown from the crowd.
    If that's the case then it's pretty poor, losing in the last minutes is never easy to swallow, but throwing objects is just so irresponsible and a reckless endangerment.
    So sorry for laughing Rio! And l hope they catch the moron who did it and throw the book at them.

    Funnily enough me and the missus were the same. I was in fits. Then I rewound it for more hilarity and saw a shiny silver object fly down. Then when I pressed back to normal time he was pissing with blood.

    Even Pug doesn't deserve that

    Glad it wasn't just us who thought the injury self inflicted and really funny. It really is going back to the dark old days if object throwing starts creeping back in, same with the racist crap.
    Not nice, but at the time we were in fits nevertheless.
