    Van Persie wouldn't sign a new contract with us and it was his choice to go to Stretford.There was **** all Wenger could do.

    If Arsene is so dedicated to Arsenal winning, he should have said "look , you sell him to them and im off too.!"

    Or let the knobber wash the rest of the teams cars every saturday for the next 12 months.

    THIS in itself , shows that MONEY is more important than football.

    When that tw@t lifts the PL trophy , the folly will be there for ALL to see , and thats when Wenger will look like a REAL fool , with his " a big team does not sell its best players " bollocks.

    Selling him to another team was not an option. Wenger has come and out said that RVP only wanted to join United, he even rejected City for them. He could have kept him until the end of his contract, but that was never going happen, with our board.

    We could have let him rot on the bench and then let him leave for **** all next summer.What would be the point of keeping a player who is clearly going to leave.I think he would have been a disruptive influence and it was best to **** him off.
