Indeed he had another cracker today and looked incredibly calm. I reckon that's spreading to the back four now as well. Can't see Vorm coming back atm, Tremmel is really now starting to look every bit the Prem keeper.

I wouldn't mess around with a winning team - the lad is doing all he can and deserves the chance.

Was poor for their 1st, 2nd and allowed way too much room for the 4th. No blame attached to the 3rd that was the defenders faults.

Have to agree on Vorm coming back in

I voted to keep Tremmel in, but after yesterdays performance Vorm needs to come back. Should have saved the second goal easily and being beaten at you near post for the first goal, not good.

Vorm, for me, would not have let the 2nd and 4th goals in yesterday. Second goal should never squeeze in the near post. It wasn't even a great header. Fourth goal, he set his wall up all wrong with the shorter players on the side of the wall that the left foot curler was going to aim for. Then, despite the shot being weak enough that it reached the goal at knee height, he still didn't get there. Both poor goalkeeping.

1st goal was a defensive error. Let him cut inside too easily. 3rd goal was a training ground move from Norwich. They used a group of players to block off Holt's marker. Clever move. No blame for Tremmel there.

Bloody hell! some of you guys have changed your tune...<laugh>

Tremmel has done well(there thats me changing my tune as ive never rated him) since coming into the team but he is not as good a keeper than Vorm, maybe Tremmel was starting to feel a bit of pressure with Vorm getting back to fitness?? something else to remember is that since he has been in goal we havent really been tested all that much which may well have given a false impression of his abilities, sure he has had to have maken saves but nothing out of this world just staedy keeper stuff mostly.

For me there was no argument for keeping the Dutch No2 keeper on the bench but it has shown Vorm that there is at least a bit of competitiion there now, i felt vorm was sloppy because his place was too safe, hopefully the rest has re focussed his mind and he is raring to go again, tremmel is a steady eddy a typical No 2 keeper who does everything he should do but will never pull off match winning saves, the game against Norwich is an example of this, when the defence is getting reemed we have that last line in Micheal Vorm,a player that very often has made the difference to the scoreline, Tremmel never gives us that, but credit to him he has done his duty these last few weeks <ok>

I changed my mind, Norway. I had voted to keep Tremmel with the proviso; "so long as he is doing the business". Yesterday, he didn't, beaten twice at his near post by efforts that Vorm with his greater agility might well have saved. No good people on here bleating about the defence not doing its job: the keeper is there to make the saves when they don't. He could also have done better with the free kick. Vorm back in for me but I hope he will also raise his game knowing there is a sound keeper wanting another shot at it.

we have seen vorm make huge errors in his game that our defense had nothing to do with his blunders, Tremmel had no chance yesterday because of our defense so he cant be made the scape goat for the loss as he is a good keeper...

Not going to argue with you, Dai. But I disagree with your view that Tremmel should be starting once Vorm is 100%. I don't blame Tremmel for the result, we have to play better as a team to be on the right side of results. Just stating what I felt I saw yesterday.

I've always been of the view that Vorm is number 1, and my view hasn't changed or been affected by my opinion of what I saw yesterday from Tremmel. Props to Gerhard for his efforts though, and if ML keeps him in goal, he'll have my full support.

Voted vorm, sticking with Vorm. At the end of the day he is the better footballer.
If Michu was injured and DG or Moore were playing well in his absence then I would still expect Michu to start again as soon as he was fit.
In some positions we have players of roughly equal ability (the wings for example), in some positions we have indispensable players: Vorm, Britton, Michu, Chico spring to mind. When those guys are fit they play every time for me.

So you think Tremmel had no chance yesterday then Dai ??

In that case why dont we play an extra forward and have "rush goalie" instead ??

if it makes no difference and he has no chance then surely that means we need to have a keeper that does have a chance ?? like Vorm who makes world class saves and makes a difference when the defence plays **** <ok>
