The only bad thing about Scotland's situation and the rest of the teams being so ****e in Europe is that no matter how well Celtic do the others will still hold the country back. The points get averaged out, so even though at the moment we have 21.5, by the time it gets averaged out we'll end up with about 4 or 5 which gets added on to the overall total.

I guess they average it out so it's a better long term gauge of the quality of a league. Our league quality is ****e so it's averaged to a **** rating.
Man City played in the champions league last year. Last season they won the premier league, the fact they only got into pot 2 is quite surprising.
Were they not in pot 3 or 4 this year, which is why they got a group of death? I believe that it's not the league seedings that decide your pot seeding, it's your club history - so next year we should be seeded in all of the qualifying rounds and possibly make pot 3 or pot 2 in the group stages, if we make it.
Celtic will still benefit from this coefficient wise, by adding 20 points onto your own total, you're likely to move into pot 3 or maybe even pot 2 for next seasons champions league if you qualify. Even in the Europa League, you'd be one of the highest seeded teams in that.
Should we retain the title we will get the Champions route (as we did this year). That gives us a better chance to qualify than Scotch teams had in previous years. When we win the thing at Wembley 6-0 I think we get automatic entry.

Just need to keep winning the Champions League and we gain automatic entry every year, it's in our own hands
Man I know its impossible but if we did win it and with you lot in the 3rd division. Football does not get any better than that.
