For me it's QPR Reading and Sunderland. Just been looking at the fixtures and Sunderlands next 4 are Reading and us followed by two easy matches against United and City. They could find themselves in even more serious trouble by xmas!

Reading have Arsenal and Man City after Sunderland. It put's our bad start into perspective!

I think 'Arry might have bitten off more than he can chew this time, and it's really not looking good for Reading. So those two, and one other. Not us, I really think we'll stay up. Villa, maybe, though unlike Sunderland, they do have a top class striker who finally made an appearance yesterday.

I would have said Sunderland but I like O'Neil and have some good friends who are Sunderland supporters.

Sunderlands next 5 games after Reading are Man U and us away, City at home, Spurs at home and Liverpool away. Can't see many points there!

    Bit early to decide.

    Anything could happen.

Still more than half a season...

Erm, yeah, I quite like Sunderland myself (the red n white stripes maybe), and Martin O'Neil is one of the good guys, but I don't see the link between me liking them, and them staying up. How does that work, exactly?

    Wigan are relegation-proof.

Three of the current bottom six, although I think Wigan are the best of the six. I thought Southampton would be ok because they score goals, which Villa and Sunderland are not managing. I think Reading and Q.P.R are the most vulnerable.

Agree with this. O'Neill will get Sunderland picking up enough points to stay up. They'll need to buy in some firepower in the January window though. QPR have too much to do. Reading I'm pretty sure will go down but that last spot is difficult to call. Are Wigan going to pick it up a little bit? If they don't I wonder whether they've got the stomach to stave off relegation yet again. Villa look weak to me so it's got to be between those two and we are in reality obviously another candidate.

Oh far too early to write anyone off just yet. Remember Pompey's great escape? Remember Fulham's as well? Probably they will come from the bottom 6, but there is usually a team which is comfortably mid-table at Christmas who contrive to lose several games on the spin and get into trouble. Who would have predicted Newcastle's lowly position?

3 of QPR, Reading, Sunderland and Villa. However, if Saints were in Reading's position I would still have hopes they would stay up. If you can score, you can win. As said, a long season ahead. I am confident about us though, because we are a quality side with the right attitude and manager...just need to cut out silly errors and win our home games.

Was surprised to see how close we are to Newcastle, though they do have a game in hand. Hope we beat them to the last Champions League place<laugh>
