I just can't see us getting the 3 points if I'm honest. We couldn't even buy a win in the early Christmas sales!
To be fair, Newcastle have more key players injured than we do, it's not beyond the realms of possiblity.
I've just been reading my posts. What's happened to my Christmas cheer, my joie de vivre? Senderos has knicked it I reckon!
To add to the woe, it looks increasingly likely that Mr Kelly will play on Monday. Still it is St Stephen's day so that might be a good omen.
I thought St. Stephen's Day was Boxing Day? Or is 'the Feast of Stephen' something different? Hmmm, off topic there. Sorry.
You are of course correct Captain. Don't know where that came from so please St Deus-d-edit the post.
The Cottage Chickens have predictably chosen the opposite of the 'Bollock' and gone for a Newcastle win: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/december/09/chicks-predict Let's hope their recent poor run of form continues.
I am worried about the Newcastle game, to be honest. They are a much better team than Sunderland and it's 3 games since we last even scored. In fact we have only won once at home since 15th September, and that was a poor match against an awful Villa side. Hopefully, we'll score a hatful and end this wobble, but I fear the Chickens may be right with this one, especially if Ba or Cisse play to their potentials.
Ba, according to reports, has been doing 'normal' training, as have all their other injury doubts. Including Obertan unfortunately.
Has anyone ever compared Lawrenson's record on our games with the chickens? I bet they're more accurate than he is.
Lawro isn't the brightest crayon in the box. Mark Lawrenson on BBC Radio 5 live: "Manchester City have to score the next goal or it could get to three or four goals down against Manchester United. Seeing as Utd are 2 up at the moment, that's a rather brilliant deduction form the wise man.
