Fairplay chaps, from where I'm sitting it looks like you might very well be in a fantastic position to go all the way this year. Really impressed with Malky and the boys and to be honest I'm past all that petty mud-slinging bullshit that's blighted us in the past. Do it for Welsh football, I have every faith in you.
Cheers Ctrl. A long way to go, but looking good. The boys coming off the bench are making a differece and could be the deciding factor this year and that depth could see us hold on where we've stumbled before.
How is Bellamy performing for you then? Is he starting every game or are they running him out for the biggies?
He's been injured for 5 or 6 games and has only just come back to start the last 2 before tonight. He'll start most games he's fit though mason is a nice player to have as cove as he showed off the bench tonight.
I guess you just get a player like that on the park and just tell him to play football. Sod positions.
Cheers Ctrl both feet are firmly on the ground we've been top at this point before and fell away after Xmas! Still along way to go!! But hopefully our depth will get us there this year! We got to invest in January and not rest on our laurels!!! Other teams will strengthen! We can't make the same mistake as the other seasons gone by!!
Hiya remote....yes, I'm having one of my prolific periods. Ctrl. No mate, you're not missing anything. In fact we're delighted to see remote talking about the moon. It took us ages to get him to stop talking about Uranus!
Echo the sentiment. It is looking good now you are getting some away wins under the belt and a gap is being created between 1st & 7th place, should not see a different team top of the league every week like was happening not so long ago. Stay consistent and promotion is yours for the taking I think
B*gger 1st and 7th.....I am more interetsed in the gap between 1st and 3rd only. we should give Wembley a miss this year...not good for the nerves!!!
The point was that a few weeks ago any team in the top 7 could go top the following week, this will now stop as the gap has opened up
I was actually modestly referring to the 21 consecutive home wins saints had in 10/11 and 11/12. Would be mighty impressive if you manage all 23.
If records come as a by product of sucess then that's all well and good. All I really care about is we're hitting some pretty tidy form at the same time we've got a massively important run of fixtures. If this level of performance is maintained for the next 5 matches then we could be sitting very pretty going into January.
