I think now is the time to get rid before its too late.New manager will have 3 or 4 weeks to assess what he's got in the squad and what needs strengthening.
I saw Sunderland at the Etihad,a pale shadow of the team from the season before and they look a beaten team with no belief.Hope you can turn it around

We don't look a beaten team, that's the thing, watch the second half of the last two games.

thats great its the 2 1st halfs that i am concerned about.

I still want MON but it is getting very worrying, relegation place after 15 games with less points than games played is worrying for any team.

Villa were crap = above us
Wigan has always been crap (at this time of year) = above us
Southhampton were really crap at the start = Above us.
QPR = getting draws now, stopped the losing rot = still below but for how long.

We played canny in the first half too.

MON was correct in what he said about the goals either side of the half being killers.
Individual mistakes rather than Chelsea ripping us to bits.

Some how missed this post when I first read this thread only noticed it when Tony quoted you to say "Well said"

I concur with Tony, well said. <ok>

IMHO only a few things need tweaking and we all know we need that play making CM.
And FFS a little bit of luck wouldn't go amiss.
It has been boiling my piss when people have been saying we have been ****e to have a pop at MON, when more times than enough we have been anything but!
Are they the Ricco fanatics who thought he was brilliant where ever he played?
Are they butthurt that MON let him go?

MON isn't above reproach, for Christs sake, even Cest has had a pop at him for not being more attacking.
I too would like to see us being more adventurous in our forward line.
That doesn't alter the fact that the teams MON has put out have on the whole performed fairly well and quite often haven't gotten the rewards after playing well.
Today is one of those days, we deserved at least a draw against Chelsea.

<applause> for you too Mackemsrule! I just don't get this we are a beaten team we were ****e stuff? Apart from QPR which was a gutless performance we have been very unlucky. That said we really do need to start games better! We seem to not come out of our shell until we've gifted a goal. MON needs to tell them as they leave the dressing room that they are already 1-0 down and it's the second leg! ha

I know what you're saying about slow starts it is aggravating.
But I actually thought we started canny this time mate.
Torres goal came from them breaking from THEIR half.
It wasn't as if this stemmed from constant Chelsea pressure anything but imo.

Chelsea did start better than us though and could have had 2 in the first couple of minutes. To be fair Chelsea looked on fire, annoyingly we had weathered the storm and were on top when we conceeded the first and we were on top when we gave away a stupid pen! The players really need to step up against Reading and if they put in a QPR type performance I will be gutted!

Short memories lads, we were outplayed and lucky to take points off, Swansea, West Ham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Wigan (until they had a man sent off), West Brom, Fulham (until they had a man sent off), dire against QPR, Arsenal, Villa, Man City, Stoke (a draw but still 2nd best).

Everton 1st half, Norwich 2nd half we were the better team.

By the way Chelsea wasn't a foregone conclusion they hadn't won in 4 or 5 in the league.
