I believe on conviction the club will make a life ban on him, and at 23 its shame he couldn't have the maturity of an adult. We have our share of players like Ash, routledge and dyer and others who serve our club with distinction, and they were on the pitch today for god's sake, doesn't this idiot appreciate that these guys play for us and are coloured.
So a young man reacts in an inappropriate manner to a player who incited the crowd after he scored, and by the sound of it did the same after the fourth goal. You expect a life ban for the youngster. If convicted he will have trouble getting employment. The person who caused the incitement continues in his £50,000 a week job. There are two sides to every story.
Its not me , but this is the sort of thing that will get a life ban from the club. I am sorry if it upsets you, but scoring goals is part of the game, this guy went far beyond that, he deserves a criminal record for doing this, and lets face it he brought it on himself.
No justification whether it was in the heat of the moment or not but surely he must have realised the focus recently on this kind of behaviour and is just unacceptable .I've heard some comments behind me and I shudder ,too many neanderthals still exist and if the price that the alleged person today pays is a ban then so be it .We seem to be going backwards in this country.
Bassong was a twat and he wound our fans up twice that I saw and I will remember that when I go to Norwich later in the season. However, that is no excuse for any bellend to make racist gestures towards him and he will no doubt get a life ban. Seeing as a precedent is now being set woe betide anyone making racist remarks to me on my travels in future because I'll complain to the police. Lets see how they like that
What? He was winding the crowd up so he deserve no sympathy? That's not a good reason. Also he was celebrating a goal. It's what usually happens when a player scores a goal. Also, he has done the same celebration before. It was a dance. Other players, home or away, have danced when scoring a goal!
A Norwich was was clearly seen on MOTD making sexual gestures to the Swansea fans. Anybody want to phone the authorities to give him a criminal record?
