No disrespect as you are a very good poster These must win threads are getting tedious now though, we won't beat Reading and then it will be, our next game is vital.
I get your point, however, imho if we dont get 3 points on tuesday we are ****ed, we'll be in the relegation zone at xmas and we all know what that means mate
If you check the betting thread off about 2 months ago, I got 14/1 for us to be relegated. Talk about quids in ££££££
My main concern now is, who's gonna come in january for a relegation scrap, who wants that on there cv?
The make or break game is the one that would send us down if we get relegated - anything else is hysteria and there is lot of this on here at the minute - that is why I'm not on half as much as I would.
Its not hysteria at all, its a well educated opinion! If we dont get 3 points on tuesday we are staring the championship in the face! Still keep mon though
Nah mate your wrong. This IS make or break. We already lost to the worst team at the time in Villa. We were worse than the worst team at the time in QPR and this really will be the last straw. If we don't win this where will the next win come from. 2 in 25. Do we continue to the 30, 35. Or as your suggesting maybe the last 3/4 games of the season. Just don't see it lasting that long. Reading IS make or break.100%
Groundhog day, cue "I got you babe".'............heard it all before - why don't you do it from when MON took over? I did not want MON in the first place SAFC83, there- that my ego stroked too.
Sorry, just looked at the table, double checked it................and if we get beat on Tuesday we are not relegated......true dat.
I'm not saying we are not in the **** - we are, but all this hysteria is ridiculous, its disconcerting yes, but cool heads are needed now. Some like stats - well look at the number of shots on target and corners for today against Chelsea, lets do that against Reading. MON can have no argument if he gets pedalled - however I think some on here would be at home having **** over how they got it right rather than being gutted at MON not delivering on his expectations. Anyway, over and out - I'm off to States for 4 weeks in the morning.
Look at the next 5/6 fixtures after Reading. I'm no mystic Meg but I don't see us winning any. If that's the case (if we don't beat Reading)it will be 2 in 30 ish games. Reading is a make or break game for MON. For our Season. For our chances of not being adrift in the bottom 3 with over half the season gone. For the fans patience. No need to **** over getting the score/predictions right. Everyone using a brain (not a heart) could see what the result would be today. Anyway, enjoy your 4 weeks and lets hope that when you get back you can tell me how wrong I was.
Its a very odd supporter(?) who backs his own team for relegation. Why you did you do it and what rationale did you use?
If we are losing late on against Reading I think the crowd will turn and it could be similar to Bruce's wigan moment last year. I can't see him still being manager if we lose Tuesday.
Unfortunately this ^ the crowd will be gone! We got behind him today! If ........... I'm saying nothing more!
