Kelvin Davis - 7, A good return to the team. Did everything he should do. Looked solid.

Nathaniel Clyne - 7, Another good display down the right. Really links up well with Puncheon.
Jose Fonte - 8, Very solid display at the back. Didn't give Roberts too much of a sniff.
Maya Yoshida - 7, Improving all the time and works well with Fonte.
Luke Shaw - 8, What a great young player this kid is. Superb defensively and poses a threat going forward.

Jason Puncheon - 8 MOTM, A threat throughout and scored a great goal.
Morgan Schneiderlin - 7, Astute display in the centre of midfield.
Jack Cork - 7, Gave the ball away a few times but otherwise a lively display.
Adam Lallana - 7, Was looking very promising before his injury. Hope it not too serious.

Jay Rodriguez - 7, Looked a livewire up front and kept buggaring their defence.
Rickie Lambert - 8, All round great display.

Gaston Ramirez - 7, Looked good when he came on.
Guly do Prado - 7, not his biggest fan but he posed a threat when he came on.

    Thoughts?

I can't disagree with any of that. Rickie was majestic today.

For once I agree with all your ratings. Kelv was solid apart from when he parried a shot in the first half when he could have held it.

KD didn't have much to do. I thought the two full backs were both very good, and Punch. I'm suprised you all rated Rickie so highly I thought he had a bit of an off day, J Rod on the other hand was brilliant and I'm suprised he came off.

    Any news on LaLa's injury?

Putting it mildly. He touched it about five times!

I loved the way he kissed the ball when he saved from the left late on!

I actually agree with SF4L, surprising seeing as it's normally bizarre ratings. Perhaps bump Rodriguez to an 8.

Agree with scores. Shaw was excellent, perhaps he should be MOTM if given a weighting because of his age. Lambert had a good game...he was everywhere...more than just a striker. As for Puncheon...who could have foreseen that last season...like a new player.

A team effort today, no weak links today. Work-man like at times but excellent result.

Agree other than bump Jay Rod and Maya up to an 8. Thought they both played very well

Didnt think Jrod was that effective tbh. He often seems to end up spending too much time making decisions, ball seems to get trapped under his feet. Surely Sharp would have been as effective if not better...?

I have to say I do miss Sharp. I like Rodriguez as well though.

Makes it even more annoying that Sharp is scoring for fun at Forest

Tough choice for MOTM. Spent a while trying to decide between Clyne, Shaw, Cork, Puncheon and Jay. Just went for Clyne in the end.

    Davis - 7
    Clyne - 8 MOTM
    Fonte - 8
    Yoshida - 7
    Shaw - 8
    Puncheon - 8
    Morgan - 7
    Cork - 8
    Lallana/Ramirez - 6
    Jay - 8
    Lambert - 8

I'm still surprised that people would have Sharp over Rodriguez. No place for Sharp in the team. Rodriguez is a more talented, younger player who contributes far more outside the box than Sharp has ever done. Give Rodriguez a chance up front and let him find his feet in the Premier League and he'll certainly prove worth the money - like his very good game yesterday, scoring (but wrongly ruled out) against Newcastle and scoring against Spurs.
