Well I didnt see that happening in the first half! Please lets hold onto this lead. No doubt the Swans will come out fighting
Need to pull our fingers out second half. Terrible display. Fair play to Norwich, look like their well up for it.
Just goes to show (again) what a hopeless tool Lawrenson is. Can you back us to lose heavily every week, you clueless dickhead
As I said in my OP, we defend tight but can destroy any defence in the league on the right day. I can't quite believe it though.
I'm not watching, as I have to do a house clean up but what the heck is going on? I was really worried about this game.
Outstanding half of football from Norwich, they are the better team today and i dont begrudge them the scoreline, its deserved. Our boys yet again undo all the good work put in previous weeks and that is so frustrating, right from the kick off we all knew it was going to be a battle and Norwich were gonna chase us down, the only people that didnt know were the players!! Crap defending for all goals, our acheilies heel remains against the bigger teams and that will always remain with us as long as we have certain defenders in the side. I hope we can at least perform better 2nd half but that is giving a dis service to Norwich who are intent on proving all the hype our players get is unfounded .
Rubbish first half, Norwich tight and organised, we have no zip. Graham is too slow upfront. Aaaargh!
woeful defending and lack of imagination going forward - i hope Laudrups giving them a bollocking and we come out fighting - fairplay to Norwich though , a very professional 1st half, you certainly know how to play us i ll take a draw now!!
I think that highlights how poor defended those goals were Thai, im not taking anything away from youj boys you are by far the better team out there overall, i just hope that the players have stopped reading the press and realise that 17th place is the what we are aiming for in this league, everything else that comes after that is a bonus, very dissapointed in the performance but it looks like yet again we think we can win without putting in the 100% effort, a complete repeat of Reading, sunderland and Southampton!! All the teams i worry about us playing because of the strong set piece play the have and it gets proven time and time again !!
Tremmel beaten twice at the near post and giving Laudrup the excuse to recall Vorm. I have been banging on about the need for more graft, physicality and energy in midfield. We are OK when teams allow us to play but disappear when the other lot compete. Norwich are full value for their lead and, I hate to admit it, but Hughton has comprehensively out thought ML in that first half. They have defended in numbers, attacked with numbers and snuffed us out in midfield with numbers. They seem to have more players on the pitch than we do. If ever a game demonstrated Leon's value to us, it is this one. JdG and Ki seem too precious to do the dirty work that is required. There is no one consistently picking up the loose stuff in midfield and my recent remarks about our lack of strength on the ball, has come home to roost with a vengeance. So what do we do? Three goals adrift means we've got to go for it which, in turn, means that we will be more open at the back..... if that is possible. They could get 5 or more if we're not careful. I am really annoyed with the players. Michael Laudrup has been warning them all week about this, yet they are strolling about as if it's a training exercise, as opposed to a game that could have seen us in the top four. I've seen more urgency, energy and movement from a traffic bollard. Teams have come back from three down but it will take a vast improvement in skill and attitude if we are to salvage anything from this game. We'll see.
