With this Watford beating Yorkshire thing, a similar thing happened with us in the Premier League when we faced clubs from London. We beat Fulham, Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham. A big fuss was made about how we were beating teams from London by Sky, and then we were brought back down to Earth by a thumping by the fifth London team, Chelsea. Roles reverse today maybe?
The main positive was that Zola admitted we were 2nd best and didn't pass the ball well. Previous managers would have blamed the officials/pitch or in the case of Vialli the fans. Certainly miss FF (with injury...not buggered off or whatever was rumoured) Hull are top 6 for a reason and it showed. Steve Bruce did his homework on us very well.
We both looked decent sides today. We were holding on until we got that 2nd. Brady was excellent for us IMO and I expected more from Vydra. He disappointed me today.
I think generally we were off form attacking wise...probably because your defence was very solid. We've won 7 out of 8 so due a loss.
