At this stage of the evening it is time for the optimists to take over. I'll admit I've had a couple but I truly believe we will stay up. Last year many on this board gave up with ten games to go. Amazingly we survived with the coiffured MH in charge. This year we have the original wheeler dealer in charge and we will spend in January after beating Wigan and the rest.
On another note does anyone know why the Goldhawk pub is boarded up?

didn't Daniel levy do the deals at Spurs? I'm sure Harry has said his wheeler dealer tag (which he hates) isn't valid.

I still think we can do it but need a zillion things to go our way.

Very depressed today reading about the swans possibly qualifying for europe this season and seeing cardiff 4 pts clear at the top of the npc.

Ciarria you are not wrong. Feel like crap. Been up with the kids since six and now have to drive to Essex to see the in laws.................However I still believe. We are going to win by two clear goals today to kick start our season.

thats a shame - that leaves the crown and sceptre as my only drinking option. bottom line - nobody went in there. even match days is was a bit thin on the ground. shame as its got potential but it was always lacking in atmosphere

The goldhawk is boarded up as has been sold to developers and will be turned into offices.
It was in the Hammersmith and Fulham chronicle if you have a look online.

The Askew Arms has gone the same way as well. The bush is really now left with either dives , chains or gastro pubs and not much in between.
