Why do you think it was allowed to go ahead? The police and security forces will have photographs of everyone at that protest and will have garnered further intelligence about the ring leaders.
Islamists, Christains, Catholics, Prodestants, Jews etc - anyone, of any age, from any country, who expresses extremist releigious views of any form is a ****. I don't deny anyone the right to beleive in their little fairy stories, but when they affect others by inciting division and hatred, and interpreting their comic books (sorry religious texts) to suit their own agendas, they become a danger to others. People are way too sensitive when it comes to ipsetting religious people, especially 'non-western' religions. I can probably get away with calling the Christian 'God' a ****. But I can't call Allah a ****. Don't know why, they've both caused enough death and destruction over the course of history, I consider them both to be equally ****y. And I take deep offence at the fact that I can upset someone with religious views by expressing my opinion, but I have no say or protectionwhen I am deeply offended by grown people spouting their opinions about beleiving in gods.
