That is a product of weakness and an inability to stand up to the threat of internal Islamic terror acts.
France is suffering through it now.
The Dutch are suffering through it now.
    Is England far behind?

How can you say that the Jordanians want nothing to do with the Palestinians. Total rubbish. Almost 50% of the current population of Jordan are first or second generation Palestinian. That's a fact.
You have also confirmed my point. Not alone did the Israelis take Palestinian land they also occupy land. belonging to Jordan in the West Bank, Lebanon in Chebba and Ghajjar and Syria in the Golan. What a way to make friends and show compassion!!!
I'm not in any way either pro or anti the Israeli or Palestinian cause, I'm only calling it as I saw it. Neither side are capable of showing compassion to the other.

As usual Swords, you just can't argue your corner without having a personal pop at somebody. Unnecessary and uncalled for. Disappointed but not surprised.

I'm calling you on out on all of this. Show me where Jordan welcomed the Palestinians to go live there. They didn't. You might be right on the issue of a large Palestinian population in Jordan though.
    Here is a fact:
All of those areas you mentioned were post-war acquisitions. Holding them doubled the size of Israel and created larger buffer areas from the attacking neighbors.

The Golan Heights were used to launch rocket attacks into Israel for many years before Lebanon attacked Israel from the North, Jordan from the East and Egypt from the South. After the wars, the Sinai was held as a buffer zone from the South neighbors, the Golan a buffer zone from the North neighbors and the West Bank as a buffer zone from Jordan in the East.

Israel has not started any war with its neighbors. They have responded to attacks. You write like the Arabs want to be friends. They don't. If there is a lingering hostility towards Arabs by Israelis, it was well earned and won't go away quickly. Each and every "Peace for Land" giveback agreement that Israel agreed to has been later repudiated by the Arabs.

As long as the neighboring States will not recognize Israel, there can never be any lasting peace in that area.

Sometimes peoples stupidity genuinely beguiles me.

Why, can you tell me, do you think they were lobbing rockets in?

And this rocket waffle that comes from Tel Aviv and Washington is as ridiculous as it is saddening. Hamas fighting with these Mickey Mouse pea-shooters against the might of the Israeli Military (funded and backed by American goons) with their Tanks, cruise missiles, Jet fighter bombers, artillery etc - and lets not mention Nuclear Weapons - is a bit of a mis-match don't you think? Its like a front row Rugby player going up against a child. David and Goliath wouldn't even be comparable. The casualty rate on either side proves this. Its genocide on a massive scale and you, QPRNY, should be ashamed of yourself for your unabashed condoning of such brigandry.

I think you need to seriously reconsider your position, Sir.

I knew when I saw QPR New York's first post on here it was going to cause an argument
Joey should keep his mouth shut about something he knows little about
Certain posters on here do not need to get involved as they do not really know the score
The response from Imaz is expected and ok as we all know what side he is on
Best thing would be for the thread to be closed

Can someone put this into a football analogy so that the rest of us know what is going on here?

Otherwise what Whereeverilaymyhearth says. This is after all a QPR and football forum. The light hearted stuff I like and can also enjoy, but politics and religion is a no no for me. I don't enjoy it. I have to sit through hours and hours of this and other equalites bullshit at work. I come on here to be entertained not to suffer more rights or wrongs with the world. Take your argument elsewhere, because I'm not interested in it. I really do not give a **** who is right or wrong or who is getting blown up.

All I care about on here is who is playing left-back v Wigan.

You're dead right of course 999s. It would be great if we could all behave like adults and occasionally discuss controversial religious or political topics. I never have an issue with 'strong' argument and like to see people arguing their corner as long as they show constraint and respect for others and their opinions. Of course I am dreaming and clutching at straws as some on here just can't help getting personal in their arguments

That is why we are on here for sure ... QPR, however these great discussion points come up as if we talking in the pub IMO. It's has been proven to me that we all talk off track about any stuff but we are all QPR. I think its important to be aware of what is going on regardless of the platform .. some keep quite, some comment, some read, some don't and so on. WE are so lucky in this part of the world NOT TO HAVE TO CARE... IMO we should. This is a thread about Barton and Israel did we all expect no one to comment?. I found it interesting and wish the world would stand up against the evil powers that are in control of this.

We are all more interested in who is getting out the ****ing jungle or can dance in a contrived studio somewhere ... More Turkey Jimmy?

With respect Nines, why are you on this thread then commenting on it? You're one of my favourites on here but it amuses me when people complain about what's being discussed on non-QPR threads. Nobody's forced anyone to click on this thread, read it and then comment on it. Its actually quite arrogant to suggest that people should stop talking about something because you don't like it. 90% of the threads are QPR related so why ain't you on them?

Again I'll say I like you Ninesy and that's just my opinion.

I take umbrage with that. How can you say "you're dead right Nines" when you yourself have been immersed in this thread giving it stick?!

There's hypocrisy right there and I'm very surprised with you NUTS.

You will never have peace anywhere in the world as long as the "big" 5 countries supply arms to the smaller ones, Arms sales generate about 1/4 of these countries GDP and the banks control these companies and banks are only here to make a profit so if all conflicts ended the bigger countries would lose mega income, So the banks through the press continue to write bollocks in support of the various factions to create hatred and thus continue to have people who wish to buy said arms and ammunition thus continuing to make money.
All conflicts around the world are sponsored by the money men who's sole desire is to make more money and to hell with human suffering.
War is big business just without the need for board meetings.
Then again what the hell do i know, probably about as much as a certain Mr Barton if not less, but like him it's just my opinion and as stated by many on here before opinions are like a***holes every body has one !!!!!!!!!

The difference between me and you Swords is that I will stand my corner and argue with the best of them without getting personal with fellow posters. You directly and indirectly insult other posters when they don't agree with you. STOP mincing my words. That's twice this week.

Nines says to stop discussing non-QPR topics and you agree yet you were doing so on this very thread.

    There's no word-mincing here mate.

I agreed with 999s in that this is a football forum and is supposed to offer light hearted fun and entertainment for all. However, in saying that, we should when appropriate, be able to discuss more serious matters. As Joey Barton was linked to comments about the Middle East, I have no problem with people discussing a very serious region, as I felt on this occasion it was relevant. I generally encourage free expression and love a good argument. That aside, I won't tolerate people becoming abusive with others because they don't agree with their opinion. You have a track record of this. Considering your position on this board i advise caution on your behalf. I see myself as having been more than generous to you considering your ridiculous comments to New York above.
