"That win kept their good run going but going to the Liberty Stadium to face an in-form Swansea team is an entirely different proposition."

What on earth is 9 games unbeaten then <doh>

The bloke is a tit, simple as that!

2 - 0 Swansea seems a fair enough prediction to me...

It's not the prediction I have a problem with but the lack of any logical explanation behind it. He says things with no justification and this is unacceptable for a man in his position.

I'm sure he would have said that facing Arsenal or Man Utd "is an entirely different proposition" also.

Incredible prediction of a 2-0 away win but based on what exactly?

    Is it...

    1. The long away winning run they have been on since January?

    2. The long unbeaten run this season?

    3. The fact they are pushing for a Europa League place as expected?

    4. Their strikers have been on fire all season?

    5. Their midfield have been supplying the strikers incredibly well this season?

    6. Their defence is the tightest in the PL?

    7. They have a new manager that everyone has heard of?

You lot are as biased and off the mark when it comes to QPR as Lawro usually is with the rest of it. They have a great set of players and Redknapp will get them solid by the time Christmas comes around.

Okay Yorkie, on paper maybe, just not so good on grass <ok>

For me it is nothing to do with being biased. I like Peterborough Utd and am saying them same thing about them this season. They are doomed as far as I can see.

lawros gone for the safe option, as you would expect.
try not too get too worked up - we love proving him wrong!

and i can see Koo Pee Arr wining at Wigan, much as i'd like them to beat Swindon's record of the longest without wining a game - wigan have a load of injuries especially in defence

Didn't you know lads that just like us your rubbish, in Lawrenson's eyes that is

At your place he'll have the score down the other way around. He's a tit and take no notice of him.

Safe journey to all of you travelling to Swansea

I like the way he didn't even mention the fact we did the double over them last year, and were tactically far superior in both games. I appreciate it's a completely different team for both of us this year with new managers at the helm as well, but for me it is still relevant.

I'm certainly not expecting us to go there and pick up an easy three points however, I'd definitely take a point if it was offered but I also see no reason why we can't do a job on them again.

Regardless of the result I'm sure it's going to be a cracking game for both sets of superb fans - I just wish I was going :(

Thanks for the kind words Dilligaf, all the best to you <ok>

Shall we just boycott his forecasts. they are simply logical (largely) based on league positions and current form, he never sticks his neck out or has an insight based upon his breadth of knowledge (LOL) and could therefore be replaced by a computer, a very cheap computer.

Paul Merson has a similar intellectual capacity to a bowl of custard. He is enthusiatic and entertaining but wouldn't be the sharpest tool in a rubber toolbox.
