You will find that Cannavaro and Baresi played in Italy, where they play on the ground and they probably paid the centre forwards to go easy on them............

You're not suggesting that there is corruption in Italian football are you? Perish the thought!

And I imagine they also paid the rest of Europe in 89, 90 and 94 and the rest of the world in 1982 and 2006.

It is. I expect that nothing concrete will get done until the summer when we know which league we are in next season. But i would expect James Chester to sign a long term deal IF we are a PL club again. No need to rush as he still has another year left. But no harm in talking it over now.

Everton dont have the money needed to buy Chester. Plus they have it all on to keep Mr HairDoo Fellaini and they are also trying to get his mate over in January. So i would suggest that Moyes has moved on to other targets now.

Steven Pienaar £4,500,000, Kevin Mirallas £6,000,000 and Bryan Oviedo £3,500,000.

Yup, definitely not a club that could pay the sort of fee Chester would command.

Especially if they get a daft money for Fellaini in January. I can see a top club coming in for him, if Everton want to sell that is.

I would be a little shocked if no one put a bid in for Chester in January.

same , though i would only be disappointed if he chose to join a prem side in a relegation scrap . - he can do that with us next season maybe ;)

It would be nice if we had some transfer rumours going on. As opposed to us speculating on one of our players leaving.

That'll be burnsey who recently hasn't been right about anything thats not already in the public domain. Now that his source has left the club, he's knackered

He tweeted it after yesterday's press conference, so I assumed the info came from Bruce.

Must be a bit behind the times fella if you think that burnsey had 'breaking news' about meyler and brady!

Bruce had said on multiple occasions he wanted Meyler ever since taking over. Hardly a scoop.
