Dagenham & Redbridge come into the game having picked uo 9 points from there last 5 games, The Gas picking up only a 4 points from a possible 15. The Daggers have found the net 12 times recently 5 of those goals coming against promotion favourite's Rotherham at home which proves they shouldn't be underestimated. The Gas will be in for a very tough game but how will it go can The Gas get a rare win? or will The Daggers put more pressure on MM with a victory? Post and Vote for your final score of the game and who you think will bag the goals.
I'm going for a win for the Gas it will keep the pressure off MM for another week. The Gas 2 - 1 The Daggers. Eaves with both goals
games this weekend that effect us.... barnet vs wimbledon oxford vs aldershot plymouth vs york if we lose vs dag and red and barnet at home beats wimbledon and aldershot gets a point at least vs oxford, we will go bottom.
We managed to conspire to lose last game of the season to them easily was it 4-2. I put us down for a win more out of blind faith than recent form according to the stats we are up for a thumping on Sat. COR
MM on Dag & Red... http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/mark-on-daggers-529569.aspx?pageView=full#anchored The manager recognises that Dagenham and Redbridge will be a tough test on Saturday, and he knows that his team have got to start taking their chances if they are going to start picking up points in a busy month. MM said: “We have been hugely disappointed with recent results, last week we had a strong squad available, but we still fired blanks, so that was a big disappointment and we want to improve on that. If we want to have any kind of season at all we need improve quickly. In any period of a game when you do have chances, you have to take your chances. What we have to do, especially at home, is to make sure that period is as soon as possible. We have to take the initiative. There are 15 points available before the end of the month, if we can start to take some of those points then we can start to change thing. We want the games, we want the points.” And the manager believes that Dagenham will be coming to the Memorial Stadium expecting to face a team they can beat, and it is up to his side to surprise them. MM said: “They are always a difficult opponent, we lost heavily there at the end of the season. From their point of view they will fancy it, they will at our recent record and think there are three points here for them, so we have to be up for it and make sure we disappointment them in that respect. We have got to make sure when they turn up that they don’t get the team that has perhaps been described to them.” The manager will be without Matt Lund who is suspended after being sent off against Wycombe last Saturday, but he will have Joe Anyinsah and Eliot Richards available to play up front. He said: “Matt Lund is suspended following his sending off, but Joe Anyinsah looks like he is going to be fit. Eliot Richards is available, he played in the reserve game during the week and played well and scored as goal".

Gas Team News Bristol Rovers boss Mark McGhee says defender Gary Kenneth will captain the side if Matt Gill is injured, despite being fined for an exchange with supporters after the defeat at Wycombe. Midfielder Matt Lund is suspended, but striker Eliot Richards returns. Daggers Team News Matt Saunders & Sam Williams both picked up knocks against Torquay but both should be fit for Saturday. The Officials Steve Rushton will referee; Grant Taylor & Adrian Gillett will assist him. Andy Hendley will be fourth official.
VIEW FROM THE TRAINING GROUND Bristol Rovers boss Mark McGhee told BBC Radio Bristol: "I've thought a lot about whether or not, if Matt Gill isn't fit, Gary Kenneth should retain the captaincy. "My conclusion out of that, having spoken to supporters and spoken to the board, is that he will be captain on Saturday. "I expect him to live up to the title of captain and to show people that he did regret what he did and that he's prepared to make up for it."
my team today: ---------------- gough ----------------- woodards -- kenneth -- parkes -- l. brown ---------- clucas ----- norburn ---------- anyinsah ------- clarkson -------- hammer ----------------- eaves ----------------- subs: walker, smith, branston, w. brown, hunter, richards and riordan i dont trust walker. gough been doing well in the delevopment side. parkes is a CB and needs to stay there and not go midfield or on the wing. kenneth will be captain so branston moved to the bench. i prefer l. brown to paterson as brown has more pace for a LB. woodards over smith all day long obviously. we seem toget over run in midfield so have 2 holding midfielders where clucus be the main defensive CM and norburn join attacks when possible. clarkson just behind eaves has worked well. clarkson along side is what i prefer but just doesnt seem to work. anyinsah recently deserves to start over richards at RW and i prefer hammer at LW over riordan as riordan is a striker not a LW. 30 mins to go if not winning, hunter needs to be brought on as our surprise package as i doubt league 2 teams know much about him. if need to push 2 strikers up front then either norburn or clucus to go off and riordan or richards to come on up front along side eaves and clarkson goes back to CM. formation 4231 is defensive and attacking if used correctly by all players.
