Fair enough. But all your list of winners shows that it's the same old clubs winning it time after time. Not one team in that list (maybe apart from BD), isn't the biggest clubs in their respective leagues. It also shows the same old teams winning it time after time. So this infact shows it is even less competitive than your making out. This season it will be the same old suspects for the past 20 years winning it again.
Not really, I would say this Season looks exciting. Shaktar - The first time in years there's a 'genuine' challenger from Easter Europe. They are playing GREAT football. Juventus - last won the trophy back in 1996. They look a good bet. Dortmund - A team built on previoulsy unknown talent have been tearing up Germany (playing amazing football) and have already beat both Real Madrid and Man City. PSG - Strongest French side in quite a while. The of course there is Barca(amazing), United(Fergie), Real Madrid (Jose) and Bayern Munich (who have been playing some great stuff) More attacking sides this year than normal!! and I dont think anyone can predict who is going to win it. I have to say this year the competition looks great.
Let's hope one of the other ones wins it this time, preferrably Dortmund, as they seem to be doing things the right way.
The thing is, one of the teams in the list, Dortmand, is everything that Wenger wanted Arsenal to become. They built there team up on a sound financial basis, brought talented youngsters through and have created success by playing great football. We've created sound financial foundations, but forgot the footballing side of it. I can't believe that Arsenal is regressing rather than getting any better!
That would be the tastiest damn pie ever... Believe me I would settle for far worse if it meant we won something as major as the championship league
