Is one of our midfielders gonna actually take part in this ****ing game? They are taking the piss out of our lot passing wise.

Hopefully, that goal will tell pardew we don't have the pace to play a high line.

And we desperately need defensive reinforcements, and maybe some back up for Cabaye. I wanted to believe Abeid was ready but I think I can now see why Pards has been a bit reluctant, loads to learn.

Yep, he looks amazing when he gets these 10, 15 minute cameos but looks a long way from being a credible replacement.

I get the impression Chris Waddle doesn't like the pitch...

Marveaux back to **** again. Frustrating player.

For once Waddle is right, no one has really done themself any favours tonight. I couldn't give anyone above a 6 out of 10. You'd think they'd be desperate to impress.

Why have we brought on Papis Cisse and Colo?!? We blatently arent going to/dont need to win this game, so why do it? Give some fringe players game time and keep the first choice team for Monday night. Moron!

Why is everyone giving such big reactions to this? It doesn't really matter.

It is a dead rubber, but that really isn't the point for many of these players Tash. They have had a chance to impress. Only certain ones have done just ok. Bigi, Tav, Willo. The rest have been poor and its really not good enough. We have travelling support over there if nothing else. Marveaux is saying he wants opportunities, well he has wasted one tonight. Pressure was off. Abeid likewise. I struggle to blame the strikers because the midfield was so pitiful.

Everytime they pull on the shirt it should matter.

Once again baffled by Pardews decision making, Coloccini should never have been brought on - what if he got a big injury?!

Shola was non-existent upfront and a change was needed alot sooner than 80 mins.

On the brightside, is it racist to say i wish our african players did crazy dances when they scored? Imagine if instead of looking like a gangster, Tiote broke out into gangnam style after a 30 yarder :emoticon-0104-surpr

Game over. Well, I had expected us to lose and play a fringe side, but the way they performed was extremely disappointing. Midfield pretty shocking and inconsistent, and nothing we tried seemed to come off. Really peeved after watching that.

Just feel sorry for the guys over there to watch it, they must have been expecting a great party night instead of a drown your sorrows night.

Exactly, don't mind getting beat but there is a professional element to any game we play. That was **** and them midfielders should be ashamed of their efforts.

Ranger was good tonight. It's a pity he had to be a ****, he could have been a decent player by now.
