I agree TB Millwall currently do play some decent football, in fact they have for a while in patches but they have been able to string a run together now. On the topic of never seeing trouble, I remember one of my first matches at PR and seeing bottles, brick, seats etc. raining down from the upper away section of the cobbold.
Also their reaction to their goals at the Den last year was something I've never seen before. Passionate?.. Yes.. but also a lot of mental to add in to the mix :headbang: We all know that the only team to really care about playing us is Norwich so when their fans all shift down to the many empty seats near the away end on mass spitting and drooling with a few spilling on to pitch with fingers raised and battle crys screamed, I wondered to myself why they weren't just celebrating their goals and the fact they were winning (quite deservedly) with their own fans, instead they were charging towards the town fans like they were trying to point out to us that they had scored... and that were quite possible going to try and kill us...

Other than that... Good support though <whistle>

KoPR - never been to Millwall away and have only ever encountered them at Home matches in and around PR and the town centre during which time I never had or seen any problems from them. Having made my first regular visit to PR in the mid 90's then I obviously missed the bad old days of proper fan rioting and since then in the majority of games I have failed to see any trouble. Its just my personal experience

On a seperate note wasnt it Millwall that gave us our nickname of tractorboys?

That was another match where I was (as a youngster) in shock at away fan's behavior at Portman Road. Another demolition of seats and bottle of p1ss thrown around the place.

In fairness TB the match at PR i was referring too earlier was in the mid-late 90's, I've not seen their travelling fans since as I have missed that match (particularly with their jaunt into league 1) and their home fans when I went there last season were a bit barmy to say the least. Although there wasn't the level of destruction and trouble as there has been in the past. Just sheer craziness...

I remember a friendly match against Celtic at Portman Road in the mid 1970s when some Celtic fans pissed over the electricity cables that powered the floodlights which ended up shorting the lights! <yikes>

we dont concede many goals of late and cant see any reason why that should change. We have been missing some key players lately and not scoring so many <doh>

THE GOOD NEWS IS they are back for this one <ok> 0-3 MILLWALL
