I do actually, how did you guess? Ever since | saw my first A4 leaving Leeds, when I was a lad. But why do I get the feeling you are trying to make out its a bad thing?
Hopefully Rafa will have got us vaguely sorted by the time we play you but you never know... could be closer than first thought. I still think we'll win though. Got my tickets through the post the other day... looking froward to it.
Bucks Blue, I wish you well with Rafa. Heaven only knows how Liverpool won the CL with him in charge. As a schoolboy, you learn to mark an individual, not a zone. What a prat. Our game in January will be interesting to see what team Rafa puts out as you're no longer in the CL & only have the league & FA Cup to play for. Not sure your 2nd string will fancy it up north, but time will tell. Either way, the anti Bates singing from both sides of the crowd should ensure a nice atmosphere all round.
Yeah Rafa was an interesting one.... I was at West Ham on Saturday and at half time I couldn't really believe it. We had actually dominated the game and everyone was doing well. In the second half we just collapsed and it was tough to take... especially losing to the pikeys. Yeah our match will be a good one. I wish we weren't so heavily focused on by the police but I guess that was always going to be the case when the game was pulled out of the hat. The atmosphere will be brilliant. We may only have 3000 up there but that's still a fair number and it will be all our proper supporters... Plastics and parents with children won't want to do a late kick off in December away at Leeds!
This will be a very tough game, as the spanish waiter will field a strong side with a full strength bench for back up, will be staying up for it, but as long we give a good account of ourselves thats all that matters
Got it in one Whites. We might be playing some good stuff at the moment & we will be at home backed up by our usual quiet supporter..... 25k of the nosier variety, but we're still playing one of the big 4 PL sides who may not necessarily field their 1st XI. So we'll still be 2nd favourites. That said, as long as we don't embarass ourselves, all will be well regardless of the result.
They're gonna bring 60 times more fans than you did last season under similar travel restrictions from the same city.
Lets not forget that it would be 100 times more if it weren't for our police force throwing their weight about
Not similar restrictions at all - they are not on sale to ST holders only, they do not have to swap vouchers for tickets at Wooley Edge and they are not barred from public transport for the fixture
If Torres continues to score, we might be in trouble. I think our hostile atmosphere might scare him though.
Watched the goals this morning and Torres body language does not look good, even when he scored, nothing like when he was at scouse land, keep up the good negative attitude Torres.
They do have to go via Woolley Edge or somewhere nearby in Wakefield, they are almost exclusively using transport laid on by their club and police, and the tickets have almost entirely been taken by ST holders I reckon. 60 times better than Millwall's conditions? Nah. Just better away support.
The hostile atmosphere that hasn't shown very much this season due to uncertainty about our future. It has now returned with the completion of the takeover. Either way if I were a hull fan I wouldnt have room to comment on the atmosphere at leeds, as all id have is the gayest chant in the world that only comes out if I were in the mood and hull were 6-1 up.
